Edited for typo. Bump!!!GoldenGopherHopeful wrote:I'm sure this post belongs more properly in the "What are my chances?" forum, but since this thread seems to attract people who know a lot about WUSTL's admissions trends, I thought I'd post it here.
LSAC complete 1/7/11 (Dec. LSAT)
LSDAS GPA: 2.7strong upswing senior year
LSAT: 170
3+ years full-time WE, demonstrated commitment to PI, strong softs and recs, etc.
Non-URM
Any ideas 1. when I could expect a decision, 2. chances of admission/WL? I know my stats make it tough to predict - I've already been accepted to two programs for which law school predictor said I was a weak consider and a deny - but I'm also trying to have realistic expectations in light of my GPA. Before anyone says anything TOO mean, please note that my app to WUSTL was free.
Also, did anyone take the Dec. LSAT and hear back this week from WUSTL? I heard from a couple schools (acceptances - yay!) but I don't know if it's a bad sign that I didn't hear from others. Granted, I only went complete a week ago.

I think you'll get in. I had the same exact numbers and got in last year on Jan. 25, but I had taken the LSAT earlier.GoldenGopherHopeful wrote:I'm sure this post belongs more properly in the "What are my chances?" forum, but since this thread seems to attract people who know a lot about WUSTL's admissions trends, I thought I'd post it here.

Follow-up question: Admissions emailed a WUSTL alumnae whom I had listed on my application (where they ask if you have communicated with any graduates about the school). Is it a good sign that they contacted this person (i.e. am I being "considered"?) or is that just something they do with any applications mention alumni contact?

Received the USB today, without having RSVP'd to ASW, so I guess all admits do get it! Now for that scholarship info....

I think 12/28 might actually be the under review date. I think I applied on Christmas or the day after. Sorry I can't be more specific...cbp3443 wrote:Do you remember when you went under review?LttleBlakDress wrote:Just got in via email! Applied like 12/28. Yay!

I went IR 12/29, so I demand a decision tomorrow. Or else I'll go down there and... beg or something.LttleBlakDress wrote: I think 12/28 might actually be the under review date. I think I applied on Christmas or the day after. Sorry I can't be more specific...

Woke up this morning to find an acceptance email from WUSTL. Very happy to have my first acceptance this cycle! Applied 12/22, UR 1/7, DR 1/18.
It certainly is nice to receive this news in a timely and 21st Century fashion (I'm looking at you, Vandy...)

Holy numbers twin. I'm also stuck waiting on Vandy =\. Went complete with interview on 11/22, and not a peep.bigjinjapan wrote:Woke up this morning to find an acceptance email from WUSTL. Very happy to have my first acceptance this cycle! Applied 12/22, UR 1/7, DR 1/18.

I just want to say that, whether I go there or not, I will forever love WUSTL for being the first school to accept me. If it weren't for WUSTL I'd be pretty depressed about my cycle so far.
