In all fairness, at least there's not a foot of snow or three inches of solid ice on the ground.RTS83 wrote:Beautiful day to attract potential students. 44 and pouring down rain. Sorry to say guys, no matter what you are told tonight/tomorrow, weather like today/tomorrow will pretty much be the entirety of your spring semester until maybe mid-May
It'll be especially fun when they/we tour Easton Town Center tomorrow... Sure, there's the indoor part, but that's kind of ghetto. The nice stores are outside. Maybe the rain will keep the gun-wielding teenagers away, though.RTS83 wrote:Beautiful day to attract potential students. 44 and pouring down rain. I hate that they keep including Easton on the Admitted Students program. There are so many interesting neighborhoods in Columbus it feels criminal to pack everyone up and drive them twenty minutes away to go eat at Cheesecake Factory.Lwoods wrote:It'll be especially fun when they/we tour Easton Town Center tomorrow... Everyone coming to this thing, do yourself a favor. Grab an umbrella and head south on High St to the Gallery Hop instead, or frat it up at O Patio if that's your thing. Or maybe trek down to German Village and go into a meat coma at Thurman's or Schmidt's, but don't go to Easton.

In the acceptance email? Or a later one?Lwoods wrote:via e-mailJohnnyBlues wrote:How did everyone find out about scholarships??
A later one. I think there was about a month to six weeks between my acceptance and my scholly offer.JohnnyBlues wrote:In the acceptance email? Or a later one?Lwoods wrote:via e-mailJohnnyBlues wrote:How did everyone find out about scholarships??

Email the financial aid office and ask them about it.ajw431 wrote:So I was accepted back in November and haven't received any scholarship info yet. Should I be freaking out/assume I'm not getting money? Or is this an opportunity for me to work on my patience?
Haha, te "really tall guy" description was sufficient.RTS83 wrote:I got mine 1.5 weeks after the admission email.
Getting dressed over here. Do we have a solid plan to find one another? I'll recognize maybe 1-2 faces out there. Maybe I'll put RTS83 under my name tag in quotes

Ha! Sorry, I didn't hear them, but I was sitting toward the front.TTH wrote:No one will see this until later (unless your TLSing on your smartphone instead of paying attention to the presentations, in which case, you're absolutely doing it right), but I'm just curious if the vendors in the hallway braying like jackasses can be heard inside. I hope so.
I totally heard them and it was obnoxious.TTH wrote:No one will see this until later (unless your TLSing on your smartphone instead of paying attention to the presentations, in which case, you're absolutely doing it right), but I'm just curious if the vendors in the hallway braying like jackasses can be heard inside.
