The Caboose of the T13 status check just updated; application complete: 4/1 and decision rendered: 4/1....

so now i wait for a ding or w/l email, correct?

and what if there is no email?

it looks like a lot of folks on this thread who posted about getting a DR on their status check also received their ding/wl emails the DAY AFTER? that sucks...too much suspense..

I also went DR today. Pretty sure I'm an auto-reject... and I can't log in to the admitted students page.

Is it for certain that if you can't log into the admitted students page immediately after going DR, you're hosed? What was the group consensus on that?

Edit: Answering my own question:

If it eases anyone's worries, I couldn't get into the admitted students site until days after I went DR, and I was accepted. I had actually already received my letter in the mail before I could access the site.

So stay positive.

Somebody mentioned in the WL thread that the admissions office told them it took FOUR days for your information to be in the system to gain access to the admitted students site.

The info that I know is that most ding emails come either immediately after the dr or the recent trend has been the day after at 2:45 eastern time. This is the same with the wl emails. Of course there are some outliers in these situations. Good luck to everyone. I will recant what I said earlier in this thread that Georgetown as a Jesuit institution would be unlikely to give rejects on good friday hahaha. Good luck and pm me if I can help at all.

while i admit it would be pretty mean to go DR on april fool's and then get the ding e-mail on good friday...i'd rather just get the rejection over with than wait until next week. agreed?

Need based information should come after you fill out the FAFSA, yellow form, and need access. Merit scholarship information only comes if they contact you regarding consideration.
