i retook once and scored higher than my first LSAT but still not as high as i was practicing
going to school for free was my #1 priority, and even if i scored where i was practicing, i wouldn't get $$$ at northwestern, and i want chicago, so it all works out.

so I have a general question which I'm sure applies to all schools giving financial aid packages. my c.o.a. includes the room and board, so they're factoring that in with the aid package.

what if I've found a cheaper alternative that my parents can afford, i.e. I don't want the loan money for "Room & Board". I can just tell them I don't want to accept x portion of aid, right? or basically, I will take x amount less the cost of room and board. we can do that, no?

sorry, this was messy but I had to ask.
