Real talk tho... it'd be a great reality tv show if we put a bunch of people applying to law school in a mansion for the application cycle. It'd probably end up with a person saying retake in every episode and someone being murdered for being accepted into HYS.

Sure they're great for some general questions that could probably be googled, but outside of that it's just a bunch of peers offering up conjecture and commiserating. It's not advice that should be taken at face-value by anyone.

IDK I guess I just always assumed everyone was here to dick around and ignore real work first and foremost. I understand that conversation can get way off topic and so on-topics are necessary, I just guess I really never realized that some people use it to try to get real information (especially in the general)

This obviously does not apply to the specific threads and any that have authorities in them (luv you spivey )

I think it depends on the thread. This thread doesn't really have a specific topic it's addressing, so I consider it more of a messy thread. Fwiw, I don't mind pop culture references and the likes. I'm also no longer in search of much information. Lol. I think the "class of" threads in the Class of 2020 topic area are a mix of necessary info (namely deadlines, $$$, stuff like that) and just getting to know who your potential fellow TLSer classmates might be.

It's all a personality thing though. Just like there are people who are convinced that nothing they say on Twitter should ever be taken seriously because "It's just Twitter" and then there's people like me who are like, "Okay but what you say on Twitter can have real world consequences so like.. no," especially when it comes to things like cyberbullying. I guess this is a YMMV situation lol.

I watched MTV in Middle School...I am also an old though, so this show was my HS days. Can't speak to the younger millennials MTV viewing preferences.

My response was to YOU. My comment was not about any other TLSer or whatever else. I did my research and my conclusion is that you need to find the nearest stadium in your hometown, cause evidently there aren't enough seats where you currently are.
