If there are no JS1s, are there no JS2s? Or is that just a usually on JS2 dates, there are JS1s kinda thing?

No JS1 does not imply no JS2s. But when I did the calculation a while ago, something like 70% of the JS2 days also had JS1s come out that day. So in my opinion a JS2 is more likely to come out on a day that we have JS1s.politics89 wrote:If there are no JS1s, are there no JS2s? Does HLS explicitly state anywhere that a JS1 is a pre-requisite for JS2, or is it just tacit common knowledge?

JS makes calls and sends emails according to the following conditions:politics89 wrote:If there are no JS1s, are there no JS2s? Or is that just a usually on JS2 dates, there are JS1s kinda thing?
If there are JS2s, then there are JS1s.
If JS wears her mauve shirt, then JS1s occur on Friday.
If JS2s occur on Thursday, then JS1s do not occur on Monday.
JS1s occur on Mondays or Fridays, but not both.
JS2s occur on Wednesdays.
So yeah, we all go this.

Wow that felt like a blast from the past.... Even though I took it pretty recently it feels like so long ago. LSAT studying was like a different life

If, in place of the rule that required JS2s to occur on Wednesdays, we instead stipulate that there will never be new JS2s (like ever), chneyo will survive the torture for how many days?chneyo wrote:My favorite part.Carter1901 wrote: JS makes calls and sends emails according to the following conditions:

In order for this formula to be valid, it looks like x has to be greater than 11.45 or smaller than -13.45.chneyo wrote:After plugging some numbers, I came up with this: cos((log{sqrt[(x + 1)^2 + 41]/7 - 2})). What is x ?

I'm guessing chneyo will not survive too long under a JSHmmm, so just find the value of x that minimizes the function.bbkk wrote:In order for this formula to be valid, it looks like x has to be greater than 11.45 or smaller than -13.45.chneyo wrote:After plugging some numbers, I came up with this: cos((log{sqrt[(x + 1)^2 + 41]/7 - 2})). Does JSHmmm = JS1.5?chneyo wrote:Wait wait wait. I thought the new rule was that no more JS2s... ever. If there are JSHmmms going out, then I'm all in, baby. (for a second I thought it said JS Ham and was like, yeah, providing us with snacks really is the least they could do.)

Just think about it. JS interviews you. She looks at your file, your LSAT, your recommendation from Larry Summers. She thinks. She goes Hmmm.…offer? ding? waitlist?
