Mine just changed to "Review Complete" Should I take this as a good sign? Ahhh! I'm so nervous!

When did you go complete / decision pending?

I went complete 11/17 and never had a decision pending. It's been at "Application Ready for Review" the whole time.

I take it "Application Ready For Review" means I have some waiting to do. It's cool, I didn't apply until November 25. I'm thinking January/February decision?

I applied a month earlier and I'm in the same situation. I have absolutely no clue what is going on seeing as I thought I would get in for sure.

They say they are not rolling admissions, but why have some people received a decision already? What is the difference b/w rolling and non rolling admissions if people are reviewed as they submit their applications under both?

I would guess that the are trying to lock down who they consider to be top applicants as just about everybody admitted thus far has gotten money, from what I've seen. Everyone else that's borderline or below is getting held for decision until March and this is how they can say they aren't a rolling admin type of program.

And thats whats got me so confused. People with numbers lower than mine have gotten big scholarship offers. Plus I applied on 10/17. And I have heard nothing. I'm just hoping I'm not rejected, but I'd also like to not have to wait until March.

Expect something under mailings in a couple of hours. Mine updated to Review Complete in the morning, then later in the afternoon had the Admit mailing. You're probably in!

I received a packet in the mail 3 days after going to Review Complete- So I am guessing it is on its way.

Yes, that's what I was eluding to in my post before. I had "review complete" as my status in the early afternoon, and then sometime in the late afternoon/early evening the "congratulations, admit packet mailed" status appeared under mailings. I would be very surprised if you didn't see the same within 5-48 hours.

Well, considering they have yet to reject anyone this cycle, and last cycle no rejects or waitlists came until March (based on LSN), I think it's pretty safe to assume an acceptance at this point.

I have read the posts up. I don't know if it is safe to assume that:

application ready for review --> review complete means early decision

application ready for review --> decision pending means waitlisted or rejected, or optimistically "regular decision"

Sadly, my status checker says decision pending ................

Urgh... I was so excited when my application went Decision Pending. Now I just get a twitch in my eye whenever I think of or hear the name "William & Mary."

And I've only been Decision Pending since last Monday...

I'm at the dreaded decision pending less than 2 weeks after applying.

Assume nothing, I went from app ready for review, under review, to decision pending to review complete, to congrats. Good Luck. I hate sounding like a douche, but I know I do when I say this, but its out of your control at this point, the only thing you can do is get drunk and pray, and I know its easy for me to say, but I couldn't handle it any other way.
