Wow. I got that exact same call.
Oddly enough, me three. I ran out of an important meeting at work to pick it up, thinking it was NYU, and was obviously quite disappointed.
Apparently nyu's been selling their applicant list to telemarketers
I noticed that UVA made you certify that they had permission to disclose your information to like neighboring businesses or programs or something
Does anyone know when the admitted students weekend is????

Does anyone know the likelihood of still getting an interview - I went complete December 1?

You've been complete less than a month - and some of the month the adcomm has been on break. Stop worrying yourself lol.

Edit: most ppl on LSN have at least a month gap between completion and decision

Interviews aren't a prerequisite to acceptance, FYI. Unless things have changed this year.

Hi, guys. I got an offer from CLS two weeks before, and they told me that I would receive more detailed information like schlorship in late January. Any chance I might do something to increase my odds of getting one? Thanks a lot.

1) Get a scholarship offer from a school CLS considers a contemporary
2) Wait until January to get CLS offer
3) If CLS offer < other offer, take other offer to financial aid counselor at CLS, professionally tell them that money is an important factor for you but if they will agree to match that offer you will send in the deposit immediately.
4) ???
5) profit

Just read on ATL that Tiffany Trump was seen touring CLS, and took the December LSAT. Wonder if she's found TLS.

She's kind of the black sheep of the family I feel like. Like, I remember seeing her at one or two events during his campaign and they really never talk about her.

There's one on LSN that doesn't say "ED" next to it, but I'm gonna assume they were ED anyway lol.

In case anyone was wondering, the admissions committee at Columbia ARE working today. I submitted something for my application last week, and they they just got back to me a few hours ago to let me know they added it to my file.

That makes three schools I know of that have started working again then: CLS, Chicago, and NYU.

Congrats. I guess the rejection for early decision will be released tomorrow then. They said it would be done by the end of December.

Just had an interview, it was super casual and conversational and the interviewer was so sweet and funny! Probably my most enjoyable interview (I've also had UVA, Harvard, and Chicago). I was asked standard questions--why Columbia, tell me about X experience, etc. LSAT = 50th, GPA > 75th.

Interview invite today, complete 11/30. LSAT > 75, GPA a tad under median

Just got my interview invite. Complete 12/6. GPA = 50 LSAT>75

So it seems like they're interviewing more people than in the past? Is that the general consensus?
