Which course of action do you think you'll take? With a 168, you probably have a decent shot at T14, yeah?
I think so - or at least I'll have very different options from when I applied for this year. It's definitely a lot to consider
Either way, congratulations to you both! Very impressive!

What's the consensus on Wash U. vs ND? They seem like identical schools employment wise, but WUSTL is known for being generous with money...

I know ND has school spirit/football/religious atmosphere, but TLS consensus is that these things should be side considerations.

To all those still riding the waitlist,

I reached out to the Director of Admissions yesterday and there are still a few spots open in this incoming class. As several other TLS users have mentioned, the Admissions Committee confirmed that they offered a few spots to WL applicants recently and that they are still considering a few applicants for additional seats. As I understand it, they are waiting on those students to respond about their offers before making additional offers, so the number of seats left to fill is fluid as of now. The majority of those offered admission off the WL are supposed to give answers by today, and the Admissions Committee will then meet to review the rest of the candidates for whatever spots remain. Unfortunately, the email I received says that they have no more scholarship assistance to offer students who are admitted from the waitlist from this point forward.

To all of you who are also anxiously refreshing our status checkers a million times a day, best of luck! I hope those spots go to us! And to those of you who were accepted recently, thank you for keeping us updated. If anyone else gets news about waitlist movement, I know that those of us still checking here religiously would appreciate that information going forth.

Rising NDLS 2L here, so take my insight with a grain of salt.

But, in my experience ND's alumni network (both the UG and Law School) seems much stronger and well represented throughout the country. Chicago in particular has an extensive ND presence.

If you want St. Louis and are from there, WUSTL is probably a better choice. But if you want your home market (not in Missouri) or Chicago, I would take ND with less money over WUSTL. Having said that, a full ride or close to it at WUSTL is a pretty good outcome and ND doesnt really do full rides for any significant number of people.

Feel free to reach out with other questions.

Talked to the admissions office last week; expect little to no waitlist activity for the rest of this cycle.
Oh but they take 10-20 transfers a year...thanks I guess?
Anyone heard anything else?

Hi, a few questions about NDLS waitlist:
Wondering at this point, in Aug, if they remove me from the waitlist would I expect that to be done via email or regular mail? Like just a mailed rejection?

Also wondering if other waitlisters have had any news this week, like a release, acceptance or just a status change to "decision made"? And how you received that info? Thanks so much and good luck!!

1 more question..
Again, at this time, do you expect that they will make more cuts from the waitlist, ....or just hold all the remaining people in case a seat opens?

First thing to change will be your status checker, they will update that same day they make any kind of decision.
Secondly, they will probably not make any more cuts between now and then, but if you do get in be prepared for the standard "no scholarship money left this cycle" as I asked a similar question and got a response along those lines.

Snail mail after a status checker update to something along the lines of declined waitlist consideration. That is what other people have seen at least.

Ok, thanks. All my status says is "decision made" and I was told I'd receive something by mail. So, not really sure

Well, I do not show seat deposits. And I do not show
declined waitlist or anything.
All I have is "decision made". So, I guess its me and the mailbox now. Any other advice is very much appreciated

Denied. No hint of it on status checker, no email either. Just 1 thin letter by post after status said decision made.
