Is anyone here familiar with how the Cornell Law Scholarship system works. I read the e-mail they sent but I'm still very confused.

In mid-January, a 2016-2017 Financial Aid sheet becomes available on their website. You need to fill that out and submit it. After that, I believe that you just sit tight until March-April when scholly offers are made.Mbear5 wrote:Is anyone here familiar with how the Cornell Law Scholarship system works. This only applies to merit aid. I'm not sure about the process for need aid.

- To apply for merit-based aid, need-based aid, and federal loans, you must submit the Financial Aid Information Sheet available on this page in January.
- To be eligible to receive federal loans, you must submit the FAFSA and a copy of your 2014 tax returns.
- To be eligible for need-based aid, you must also submit the Need Access report and submit a copy of your parents' tax returns.

Hey guys, quick question. Do you get any sort of notification when your status changes? Or do you have to just check manually and cross your fingers.

The latter unfortunately. But it isn't so bad.. if you're even 1/10 as neurotic as I am, checking to find the random date changes that mean virtually nothing soon become the highlight of your weekBudfox55 wrote:Hey guys, quick question. Anyone know what to expect from Cornell (and other T14s) in terms of fee waivers following an LSAT administration? My December score puts me above 75th and I would like to avoid paying the $80 application fee.

Checking in, submitted today with my December score.
Question though - of the 9 applications I submitted within the last 24 hours Cornell is the only one still listed in the needs attention section on the LSAC homepage specifically it says something like "report not requested by school." Is this something I should be concerned about or is that normal for Cornell?

Sometimes the lsac system does that. It'll go away usually in about a day. If not, then contact Cornell. If anything, Cornell will send you an email in the week saying they received your app along with the status checker info.Shib26 wrote:Checking in, submitted today with my December score.
