I literally don't know a single person outside of TLS who is applying to law school. Do people have a lot of friends applying too...? Maybe it's just my major...xylocarp wrote:someone I know just got his acceptance via email!

Re: Columbia c/o 2018 Applicants (2014-2015 cycle)
!!!!!! Got my letter in the mail today with a Butler! No email beforehand.
Above both 75ths, applied late September, complete early November, interviewed earlier this month.
I've had complete post-interview silence from literally every school I applied to save Chicago thus far (HYSCCNPV), so this makes me feel so much better. I was beginning to think my PS somehow screamed DON'T ACCEPT ME or I'd messed something up in the interviews.
Oh also, for postal posterity: I'm in the midwest.

BTW, Columbia's ASW dates are March 4-5 and March 25-26 for those of you trying to plan ahead. Not sure if that's been mentioned in the thread yet.

Re: Columbia c/o 2018 Applicants (2014-2015 cycle)
Thanks for your kind words everyone
.. For those who might be wondering, I had a super fast turnaround and didn't have an interview; probably because I am not even a borderline candidate for scholarships
. Submitted 12/19 and complete the next day. LSAT at median and GPA WAY above 75% from a top LAC. But with CLS's emphasis on LSAT, I was doubting myself. Two decent LOR's, decent work experiences considering my K-JD status, diversity statement regarding my background as an international student from a low-income household (and English as a Second Language student).

Gratz to all the new admits!! Are the interviews something you schedule (like NU) or are they requested by the university?
