No way do they mean that... do they? idk but I would really prefer not to disclose my 4th grade warning note that I got for writing a love note to my crush and cleverly signing it with some other girl's name. rough time in my life

Just read through the thread, and was so confused about why people were getting in trouble for drinking in their dorm rooms until I remembered that the drinking age is 21 for you guys.... ha ha ha ha ha
Well another reason is most dorm rooms and college facilities throughout the entire US bar alcoholic beverages regardless of age...

Now I feel guilty taking it away from you given that you wanted it as well. :( That's why I gave up NYU-quilt got to me. We can split it! You can do Columbia, and I'll do Chicago or you can do Chicago, and I'll do Columbia. I don't mind sharing….I don't know what else is left! LOL

We don't discriminate against individuals that are less active. Besides, you have a whole cycle in front of you. There will be plenty of opportunity to become more active.
I'll do it tonight (no pics yet though :( ) must.keep.posting. Looking forward to a Chi one from you too!

Were in the same boat but I don't think it'll take long.

That's gotta count as a verbal reprimand, right?

Okay, so now that I actually have to think about this, what are people's thoughts: do you simply describe in 1-2 sentences what happened or do you attempt to distill a lesson or something from the experience?

Tbh I think I got something like an overnight suspension for truancy in high school bc I was walking to school after it started....but I couldn't recall any details really. I'm not even sure that was the punishment or how it was resolved... So, didn't happen?

Anyone know whether going through your local police department or court is the preferred (or easier/better) method of obtaining documentation of past citations, etc.?

I would imagine that would be the only way to get it.

Yeah, my question was whether one way of going about it was easier than the other, or if one method was preferred by adcomms over the other.

Oh, you mean pd vs court? That I wouldn't know. In tx I know you can request your driving record I think through the state. But any other citations I'm not sure.

Just a couple sentences describing the incident and how it was resolved. Do not add anything else or your feelings or anything.

X happened, Y and Z took place as a result to rectify the situation.

Is anyone interested in OPing a thread for Emory? The App becomes available on LSAC tomorrow (August 1st). I'd do it but I don't really know anything about anything, especially when it comes to computers...

I was wondering about this too. I was suspended a few times in elementary school like any good, energetic kid. There's no way i'd be able to remember all the instances I got in trouble. Do they really expect us to report on our elementary school records?
