Re: Penn c/o 2017 Applicants (2013-2014 cycle)
I was a 12/3 UR and I find out tomorrow because of the JD/MBA program. I'm not sure whether the 12/3 URs who applied to only the JD program will find out this week though. My guess is that a few will get in but most people will still have to wait.NoDayButToday wrote:Thoughts on the batch of 12/3 URs?jingosaur wrote:First RD decisions usually come out in December. If we're speculating anyway, I'd guess that if they're doing the dual enrollment apps this week then the rest of the 12/3 URs are going to be waiting till after the new year.jingosaur wrote:

I think I'm a tiny bit before you (along with a few others). My first UR was 11/21 and now my latest update is 12/10

Re: Penn c/o 2017 Applicants (2013-2014 cycle)
So let me give everyone an update on my situation.
I was expecting to hear back from both the business school and the law school today about a decision since today is the day for R1 decisions at Wharton. I was waitlisted at Wharton and I heard nothing from Penn Law. Status checker for Penn Law still says that I'm under review as of 12/3. Right now, I'm just hoping that Wharton is holding me until Penn Law makes a decision, but that's highly unlikely. With my numbers coupled with the fact that Penn Law is reviewing an MBA application for me instead of an LSAC application, I'm expecting to hear waitlist or rejection from them pretty soon.

Sorry to hear that jingo - I thought for sure you'd get in just reading some of your posts around here. BUT a waitlist is better than a rejection, and I'm sure an LOCI to Wharton saying "btw, I just got into the law school" could only be a positive factor in their decision. Best of luck (although as you got that JS1, I'm sure you won't need it)!

I submitted 11/27 and went complete 12/10 but that's the only movement I've had. Penn is my number one so the wait is killing me!theoutpostmhs wrote:My last update is 12/3. Has anyone had any updates since then?
