Admit Day was amazing and the law school blew me away. USC was my top choice but now I'll admittedly be a bit biased when attending their Law Day. Nothing but praise for the current students, professors, and the law school itself.

They have the exact numbers up on their website under "employment statistics"

https://www.law.ucla.edu/career-service ... stics.aspx

They mentioned that a very large percentage of the huge California placement is that most don't want to leave California. You can take it with a grain of salt, but as a California native, I would say that I would never leave California willfully, barring any extreme situations, and I've seen a lot of out-of-staters say the same once they've come here.

If you don't ask, the answer is always no. Give it a shot, see what happens.

I was offered a $45000 a year scholarship to attend USC law. However my top choice is really UCLA. Upon my initial admittance to UCLA though, I was not offered any sort of scholarship. This seems like a huge discrepancy for two quite comparable schools. What do you think my chances are of writing to UCLA and getting them to match USC's offer? And is there a specific protocol or format I should abide by when writing an email to the dean asking them to match another school's offer? Thanks!

Your LSAT was 160? Median was 167.

Has anyone else not heard back yet - I applied back in October. I called admissions and they said it may take a few more weeks - trying to gauge the situation.

I haven't heard back either; applied much later than you though. Hoping for some reverse splitter love.

Applied early January with a Why UCLA
Haven't heard anything since the "complete " email. Worth calling and asking about my status?
