You mean applicants? I applied in Jan and have received nothing. I think they just haven't gotten to our applications yet (three faculty reviewers probably take a bit of time).
That is what i figured. And yes, i meant applicants.

Ouch, I'm sorry; go kick ass at H or C!

Also, dinged here. Not surprised, nor am I disappointed. Good luck everyone!

Any December completes get the ding or are these just November completes getting the ax?

I'm expecting one but just want to know whether or not to look forward to it this afternoon :)

Dear Mr. Elshal,

We regret that we are unable to offer you admission for the fall of 2013. This year the Law School expects to receive approximately 2,500 applications for an entering class of 200 students. Given this ratio, many highly-qualified applicants have to be turned away. The faculty, all of whom read admissions files, work hard to reach these difficult decisions as fairly as possible, knowing the outcome will inevitably prove disappointing to many people.

Thank you for your continued patience throughout the admissions process. We appreciate your interest in Yale Law School and extend to you our best wishes for the future.

Sincerely,

Craig Janecek
Director of Admissions

Same here, oh well... Saw that coming
+1

Do you think I can reply and request that they not send me a copy by U.S. mail?
If you do this, and they go along with it, please let me know because I do not want to see a physical rejection letter. Being rejected once is enough.

Meh, I've been expecting it. I mean, not once in my life have I worn a sweater tied around my shoulders. Glad to finally move on.

Sorry to all those dinged today... It seems like a lot of people who got the email are going to be rocking out next year at Palo Alto or Cambridge, though!

I think they are changing the website design/interface today. Can anyone confirm?

I don't know that I can handle this kind of suspense.
Are there any others?

Do we know if Yale rejects in waves like Harvard, or is this going to be it for a while? Really sadly, it seems like a ton of y'all are getting dinged today. My condolences.

That's definitely it. For just a second this morning I got a look at the new design. It might take some getting used to.
