"Completion Pending" since 12/14. Oh my god, Columbia you're kiling me and we haven't even started with the good stuff yet.

Yours has been over 3weeks, so you should probably send them an email. I think it says somewhere on the status checker that it shouldn't take more than 3weeks. Maybe something along the lines of is there something you need that I haven't sent.

Will do. Thanks for the advice! I was planning on giving them until next Monday, just to account for the holidays, but I'll probably wind up sending an email tomorrow.

Just got an email request for fall term grades. Is this good/ bad/ unknowable? Columbia is my top choice and I am rocking both medians to the decimal point. What does this mean????

Probably not bad. If you were an auto-ding why would they bother requesting your fall grades?

They requested mine too. I think it's because I'm way under their LSAT stats, and they want to see if I can at least keep my GPA high enough that I wouldn't hurt their ranking with my GPA too if they decided to accept me in the end. It may be similar for you too, since you are not too far above their stats, so they want to make sure you didn't do poorly last semester. I agree with Helix. Also, I refuse to accept that my dream school would ding me

Late to the party but submitted today and checkin' in! 3.88 and 175 (rewrite). Columbia is probably my top choice, so here's hoping!

That's strange... I submitted on 1/3 and got an e-mail about completion today, 1/8 (also on Status Checker). Columbia seems to be pretty speedy from what I've seen.

Except the part where they don't admit anyone RD until like the last week of January, I'd agree.

And for the part where the first time in recent (or all of, not entirely sure) history, they waited until January to release a significant amount of ED decisions, rather than December. Oh Columbia ...

For the T6 and Penn at least, I can say they are making decisions much slower than last year.

Maybe cause they have a lot to lose and there's not as many 170+ers as they were expecting? Hence waiting til all apps are in to make decisions...?

To be fair, I was pretty excited when they completed my app in like 5 days too . The wait has just jaded me She will be there soon, too.

Yeah, unless you can guess the right password. But the message they put up after last year's incident asked everyone not to share the login info.
