Also got a call from Admissions, letting me know I was accepted! Same as above, she mentioned a scholarship but didn't specify amount, said I would receive a package in the mail.

My first acceptance this cycle, after 3 rejections and a waitlist, I'm pumped to get some good news. Plus I love Austin/UT.

Not entirely sure, I still have a few schools I'm waiting to hear from, but it's definitely a great option!

Haha pretty spot on. I would suggest Portlandia as an Austin hipster prep course. Also attorney or law student will never fly. You will need to say you work full time at one of the local pizza joints or something.

Did the UT application status page change for those who were admitted? I have been at "Complete" since November 28, and wondering if they update the status on the site, or just call/mail decisions.

When can we expect rejections to start coming in? I'm in at some great schools but would be really tempted to take the crazy cheap tuition at UT, but think that I'm probably below their GPA floor.
