Has anyone's status changed to "decision made" or anything like that? They say on their site that the status checker allows you to determine when your app is complete and when a decision is made, but I'm not sure if that's true. Went complete 10/25 and stuck on 11/7 now, with nothing in the mail. Frustrated!

I think that everyone's status just reads "Application Completed" until they get the decision letter in the mail. I don't think the status checker changes to reflect when mailings are sent. At least, it doesn't change AFAIK.

Thanks to everyone for the well wishes! Very excited about my first acceptance of the cycle! Hopefully everyone who hasn't heard will be getting good news from Georgetown soon.

I got a group interview request following that (which didn't update my status) and no updates since. I'm hoping the delay has more to do with the different program as opposed to simple lack of interest. Thanks for any insight and congrats to those who've been accepted!

Application completed 11/16. Didn't get an interview request.

I really, really hope good news is coming. My numbers are above both medians but I only have 3 graded semesters. I put my abroad address as my current and permanent address because I was unsure of how long it would take, so I guess I'll have to wait for like an extra week.

if you applied for both PT and FT, what does the status checker say? i originally applied FT, then asked it to be amended to include both programs, but my status checker only says FT.

Did you do the group interview?

It hasn't happened yet, but I'm going to be out of state when it does unfortunately. I told them and they sent a reply saying it wouldn't put me at a disadvantage. I guess the invite is better than hearing nothing. I'm probably borderline, which makes me very antsy for a decision!

That's happened to me too. I know for a fact that at my old apartment, the mail man just didn't come some days. He usually took off on Tuesdays. I imagine he was like hanging out at a coffee shop or something instead and rationalized that people could wait until the next day for their mail. At least, that is what I would be tempted to do. But 4 days is a long time.
