I don't even know if I belong here yet... but what is the status of aid packages? How many people have them and how many are still waiting?

It seems like people who did not apply for named scholarships have their packages, and those who did not apply, do not.

Gotcha... so does everyone expect a lot of packages coming soon because all of the named scholarship invites are out?

I did not apply for a named scholarship, and I have yet to receive my package.

So.... does everyone's FAAPS system page say that their application is "Application In Final Stage of Review"?

Only some of us. Looks like mostly these are the people who filed NeedAccess late but it also includes other people as well

Who is the right person to talk to about negotiating an award. NYU is my absolute first choice but I could not justify sticker when I have a full ride at another top 10.

I clearly vote for a cheshire cat theme, so I'll be wearing pink and grinning like a fool. As I've just discovered that there are cheshire cat silly bandz I would love to wear them, but I am not confident of success finding them in Mexico. :(

Last ASW we all met up at the arch in Washington Square Park and then grabbed lunch together. Then we all headed to NYU together after that. It worked really well. We just exchanged phone numbers beforehand and had a list of who was going to be there. If you guys want to meet up that would be a really good way of doing it.

I'm nervous to break down my TLS mask lol.

I'm going to stand in the WSP fountain with a picket sign that says "TLS HERE... THE END IS NEAR." or something like that. Don't look for me there though as I'll probably already be in handcuffs facedown on a squadcare a couple hundred feet away.

I seriously wish I was heading back to NYC for this ASW. I had a blast at the first one and I hope you all do too! I really don't think I've experienced such an overwhelmingly intellectual atmosphere before. Between the various professors, judges, alumni, and other students... it made me really excited about law school in general, and NYU in particular.

Plus, I think you guys get Law Revue tickets? I'm pretty jealous about that...
