what did you get from previous posts that makes you think this?Lookingforanswers wrote:So from reading some of the previous post, I think it may be a rejection I went IR on 12/1 and then there was no action between 12/1 and 2/9 when they reached the decision. I am pessimistic b/c my LSAT was not great by any stretch and it doesn't seem like they gave my app any second or third look, I will be sure to post if my theory rings true.

Was it the post about how three people make a decision and if it's not unanimous, you go through more rounds of review?rs2004 wrote:what did you get from previous posts that makes you think this?Lookingforanswers wrote:So from reading some of the previous post, I think it may be a rejection I went IR on 12/1 and then there was no action between 12/1 and 2/9 when they reached the decision. I only had one review date, and my numbers aren't good enough for auto-admit/unanimous vote, so I feel like I have a rejection coming to me.

Yeah I'm trying to find that post, because it has me worried to, for the opposite reason. I thought my numbers were good enough for Auto-Admit, but my review date has changed...

That and I've noticed a few people got more review dates updated than me, and it's super early in the process for me with my numbers to be an auto admit.Kinderby wrote:Was it the post about how three people make a decision and if it's not unanimous, you go through more rounds of review?rs2004 wrote:what did you get from previous posts that makes you think this?Lookingforanswers wrote:So from reading some of the previous post, I think it may be a rejection I went IR on 12/1 and then there was no action between 12/1 and 2/9 when they reached the decision. i think aggie had only 1 review date and was in review for about a month before getting an acceptance decision letter.Lookingforanswers wrote:That and I've noticed a few people got more review dates updated than me, and it's super early in the process for me with my numbers to be an auto admit.Kinderby wrote:Was it the post about how three people make a decision and if it's not unanimous, you go through more rounds of review?rs2004 wrote:what did you get from previous posts that makes you think this?Lookingforanswers wrote:So from reading some of the previous post, I think it may be a rejection I went IR on 12/1 and then there was no action between 12/1 and 2/9 when they reached the decision. How "bad" is your LSAT? Some people say their LSAT is bad when really it is not that bad. Also, if you are URM you might have a shot.
I have been IR since 12/1 and I haven't seen any change. But you make a good point, I'm not really sure what that means. Perhaps it means they haven't really looked at my application yet? Any thoughts on this question?
At first I was getting really discouraged about UW, but I just got accepted by phone call to UC - Hastings. I figure if I got in there, I have a shot at getting in to UW as well.

Does anybody know how long it takes to get a decision once you are IR? I've been IR since 1/21 and no movement since.

Wow...I guess I have nothing to complain about. It feels like this cycle has been especially slow at most schools.akili wrote:IR since 12/1

Ha ha. I literally laughed out loud when I saw this. IR 12/1 here too.
That being said, there have been several people who went into review after me and have already received decisions.

Re: U Washington 2011 Applicants
Okay... I think I got in. With the weirdest notice possible. My online status is still "In Review 2/1/2011", but about ten minutes ago I got an email from UW acknowledging the receipt of my application for financial aid for the 2011/2012 year. I filed my FAFSA weeks ago. The kicker is that there is a student number at the very top of the email! I tried using the student number to make a MyUW account, but you need a private access code in addition to your student ID number.
I know how huge of a bureaucracy UW is so I can totally believe that the Law school admin people would create a student ID and the Office of Financial Aid would send an automated email to that student ID. I guess we'll see soon! Totally makes up for the GWU waitlist this afternoon!

I have the recent decision reached date, and I just got an email from UW Financial aid that makes it clear that I was admitted. It is pretty safe to assume that this decision date does mean admissions. Best to everyone.

Ditto. 12/1 blows. My cycle is almost over and UW is the last school I really want that I have yet to hear from. This wait sucks.deja wrote:I'm still here with you two, going crazy, so don't count me out of the club quite yet!akili wrote:Us last two 12/1ers gotta stick together.chicityteacher wrote:Puttanesca wrote:Does anybody know how long it takes to get a decision once you are IR?
