Is that the only one? And is it only one day? Do you know if Miami offers any kind of travel stipends or anything like that?

that's the only one i've seen. i'm pretty sure all of the main events are on the 25th and then on the 26th they have a housing tour or something like that. from reading last year's forum, i don't think they offer stipends, but it might be worth it to ask for this year.

Is it normal to have "View Admissions Documents Needed" when clicking into "Your Juris Doctor Law School Admissions Information" on the My UM website?

I have the same message when I login also. I never even received a cane id email, but put in my social and set everything up. When did you apply?

I'm pretty positive I sent everything on 1/14. I've also gone back to LSAC.org to double check if I've submitted everything and I have. But I did receive a cane id about 4 days after I submitted my application.

To my understanding, UM status checker doesn't tell you if/when you go complete. I called admissions to confirm they had received everything several days after sending my app.

Yeah, you are probably better off trusting more experienced poster, I was not as dilligent as them with the status checker and what not, the best info i can give you was when they confirmed I was complete (1/13) and my numbers

UM's online status checker is a mess. They don't even know what's going on with it (seriously, I called). Your best bet is calling them to check your status.

Still waiting on scholly info

I really can't pay 38K + living expenses to go to Miami. I hope they can give me something....

just got an email about the admitted students website...it just launched! email gives you login info.

Pretty neat site. First school I've seen do something like this. A lot of schools have admitted websites but this one is much more social networking oriented.

I'm on my phone at work, so I apologize for repeating this in advanced bc I'm sure it has been asked...

I was placed on hold this morn. Do they have a waitlist and a hold category or is it just placing ppl on hold? I know the letter said you will hear prior to april 30th, does anyone have any idea when they usually start deciding w ppl on hold? Also, the letter said to let them know of any new grades, but I'm not in school anymore and not taking the lsat again. Do I just sit back and wait or send in a loci?

From what I have heard about LOCI's in generally it doesn't seem like it could hurt to send one, but they seem to most effective (or so applicants seem to think) when they can include something that wasn't in your original application or something that has changed since your application. While you are not in school or re-taking the lsat maybe some employment or life experience can be added? Hope this helps.

Thanks. I tried logging in and it keeps kicking me back and making me re-enter my information. If I didn't just receive my acceptance packet in the mail I would be getting nervous!
