mez, what are your stats? I noticed some people's stats below the supposed 163 magic LSAT getting scholarship, too. I'm wondering if it's worth holding out (a very slim) hope I may hear something tomorrow since it sounds like they were swamped today.

I might try too. Bit of a drive so I'd have to make it an over nighter. Is the Winston-Salem nightlife decent right about now?!

**EDIT*** or ever for that fact? lol

I may go to the February 18th Scholar's Open House, but I kinda doubt it. As much as I appreciate Wake's generous scholarship, I don't think it's enough to get me to move from TX. I'm conflicted :(

I am from/go to school in philadelphia and received a very enticing offer from wake forest per year, more than enough to make me consider them as a top choice at this point (i haven't heard back from many other schools at this point however). I am not a URM.

I will definitely be visiting on a scholars day in february. Does anyone know how Wake students do as far as paid summer internships? This is something that is important to me as I am paying my way through law school. I have a business background and am looking to break into the private sector (typical i know).

I'll probably be withdrawing from my offer in mid-February, so I'll post here to let y'all know when I do. Good luck on the waitlist, everyone!

Congrats to everyone that got scholarships.

I have a question. In my email it says "You have been awarded a merit-based scholarship for $22000.00. The scholarship is renewable each year you are enrolled in the regular J.D. program."

Does this mean I have been awarded 22k per year? Or 22k over 3 years? (7.3k)

[Cerie is holding the refrigerator open]
Greenzo: Here's a tip, Cerie. Decide what you want before you open the refrigerator. You just released enough hydrofluorocarbons to kill a penguin. [pulls out a picture] This penguin!
Cerie: Did he just talk to me like I'm ugly?

lol. great show.

I applied 1/13 and mine is still the same "received." They are so slow.

haha this is very true actually  Honestly, I really like Wake, but I'll hear back from my #1 choice (SMU) this week and an acceptance there would pretty much end my cycle. However, if I'm rejected, then Wake is one of my top 3 options. So this week is pretty pivotal in my cycle. How high does Wake rank for you?
