I might try too. Bit of a drive so I'd have to make it an over nighter. Is the Winston-Salem nightlife decent right about now?!plug1 wrote:I think I may try and go uplvsmithmarsh wrote:Sooo... anyone thinking about hitting up the Open House next Friday? Re: Wake 2011
I may go to the February 18th Scholar's Open House, but I kinda doubt it. As much as I appreciate Wake's generous scholarship, I don't think it's enough to get me to move from TX. I'm conflicted

Re: Wake 2011
I am from/go to school in philadelphia and received a very enticing offer from wake forest per year, more than enough to make me consider them as a top choice at this point (i haven't heard back from many other schools at this point however). I am not a URM.
I will definitely be visiting on a scholars day in february. Does anyone know how Wake students do as far as paid summer internships? This is something that is important to me as I am paying my way through law school. I have a business background and am looking to break into the private sector (typical i know).

I'll probably be withdrawing from my offer in mid-February, so I'll post here to let y'all know when I do. Good luck on the waitlist, everyone!irishvt14 wrote:**All waitlisted applicants are compulsively checking this thread hoping some of you will say "Nice scholarship, but I'm still going to (fill in higher ranked school here)"**

Congrats to everyone that got scholarships.
I have a question. In my email it says "You have been awarded a merit-based scholarship for $22000.00. The scholarship is renewable each year you are enrolled in the regular J.D. program."
Does this mean I have been awarded 22k per year? Or 22k over 3 years? (7.3k)

Greenzo: Here's a tip, Cerie. Decide what you want before you open the refrigerator. You just released enough hydrofluorocarbons to kill a penguin. [pulls out a picture] This penguin!
Cerie: Did he just talk to me like I'm ugly?
lol. great show.
