I was in at FSU a couple months ago via phone call. I also attend here for undergrad if people have any more questions.

Fellow Scholars Day attendees: Are you reading the case that was emailed to us for the mock class? I can imagine the horror of not being prepared for it and getting called on. It seems like a really stupid case, from what I read of it.

Glanced at it, saw it was extremely short, and figured I'd read it night before.NCtoDC wrote:Fellow Scholars Day attendees: Are you reading the case that was emailed to us for the mock class? Yeah, it is only about 4 pages long. So, I will likely do the same.Barbie wrote:Glanced at it, saw it was extremely short, and figured I'd read it night before.NCtoDC wrote:Fellow Scholars Day attendees: Are you reading the case that was emailed to us for the mock class? Applied two months ago and haven't heard a peep. I didn't realize how important it was to apply in October. I'm going to have visited and made up my mind before I hear from half my schools.
That is probably pretty common with splitters who apply in late Nov early Dec..?

For those going to ASD, what are you planning on wearing? Business casual at my office is jeans and a collared shirt haha, but I somehow doubt that's what they were looking for...

I believe it was put best when someone said to dress like you are meeting your girlfriend's parents for the first time at Cheesecake Factory. I'm pretty excited to meet everyone and see Tallanasty for the first time.LSATmakesMeNeurotic wrote:For those going to ASD, what are you planning on wearing? Leidice:
Since you live there already, you should pick a place that will be good for us to all meet at.
Edit: I know it isn't exciting for all you Floridians, but I am stoked that it is going to be in the 70's Thur. and Fri.

Here is a link to all the info that was included in the email from the dean. I hope this helps!

Re: FSU c/o2014 Applicants!
Anyone know how often 'HOLD' applicants are reviewed? I got held on 2/1 and was just wondering what the time frame is...like, is the next review in March at the earliest or could it be whenever? My numbers were at or above both 25% and I felt I had decent softs.
Also, I spoke to an admissions official (though I didn't ask this^ same question) who told me that they've only made about 20-25% of their total offers thus far...so I feel like I should be able to get in, just that they make the bulk of their decisions later on.

Re: FSU c/o2014 Applicants!
If one of you fellow TLSers could document scholars day (impressions, photos only if you plan on taking them, etc.) it would be greatly appreciated. Although, I did receive a travel stipend but it still doesnt even come close to covering the cost of flight & hotel from Chicago
. I still plan on visiting FSU when I drive down to Wake and U of F as well next month but I dont know if that trip will fall on an ASW.
Thanks

Thanks

Re: FSU c/o2014 Applicants!
I'll be taking plenty of pictures of FSU (and UF, depending on how early I get up on Thursday and if my girlfriend and I feel like doing a quick scout of GVille) and will probably throw them up on the pics thread.vdbl1901 wrote:If one of you fellow TLSers could document scholars day (impressions, photos only if you plan on taking them, etc.) it would be greatly appreciated.
