When is the SBA social? I'm from Columbus, admitted to Moritz but might be headed out of state, may stop by the Big Bar because I work all weekend and can't get to the admitted students stuff.

It's from 7-9pm on Friday night

Can anyone confirm that The Big Bar is formerly known as Paninis or if it has something to do with Little Bar? I guess I need to work on keeping up with the campus drinking scene

Yeah, it used to be Paninis.

Also, random... the Arnold Sports Festival is this weekend in Columbus. You've all been warned. If we go out after the SBA social, let's stick to South Gateway and stay away from the Arena District lest we see body builders with fake tans in tank tops.

The Facebook page for The Big Bar & Grill "likes" The Little Bar, so... I think they may be related.

Aahh Arnold Classic. As a bartender, this was one of my favorite weekends of the year. Jager bombs/ jager and red bulls/ goose and red bulls...hundreds of dollars in my pocket

Congrats! Your numbers are similar to mine, and I got $12k/year (2.5 stip...which is the good standing threshold, so basically no stip). I imagine you should expect a similar package.

Also, I have no idea if they offer a tuition equilizer but you can establish residency for 2L and 3L. I'm sure they could help you with the exact requirements.

Ehh I wouldn't worry too much about it. I caught a minor flaw in my application (not listing my apt # on my current address) and e-mailed all the schools that were still pending.. Most sent me e-mails back to note that they had updated my file while OSU simply added my apt # (noticed on the status checker page) and didn't respond.

I've been a long time stalker on this forum and finally decided to create an account. Application was completed on 12/1 and got accepted with a 3.85 GPA/161 LSAT at the beginning of Feb., although just got my formal acceptance letter in the mail on Feb. 22.

Looking forward to seeing some of you at the ASW this weekend!

Very little from what I saw working at a firm in NY. Your best bet if you want NY from Columbus is probably to work at an Ohio office for one of the Big firms and then transfer to that firm's NY office. And that's easier said than done.

well i actually applied 11/8 and went complete on 11/15 and the decision was 12/29 i believe. osu takes about 6 - 8 wks. they are quick
