Mine went Decision mailed on 12/11, and I didn't receive the acceptance e-mail until 12/15 so don't worry.azb wrote:Deadpanic is right....I got my acceptance email sometime in the afternoon on the next day after my status update.deadpanic wrote:Not necessarily true. Sorry to hear that. I'm assuming you heard by snail mail... when did you go "Decision Mailed"?

Letter said 3,100 applications for this year, accepting only 310.
Realistically, I probably wasn't going to pay the ridiculous tuition along with the cost of living in D.C. anyway.

Re: Catholic U 2010
That is not saying that much because last year they received 3,128 applicants. Of that number 1,072 were accepted and only 301 attended. So not too much has changed.deadpanic wrote:12/10. Decision mailed 12/18, and no email yet. Has anyone received an email from updates on the 18th? I am kinda worried although I am well above their 75ths at 3.66/162.
From what I have heard it is acceptance email rejection snail mail.
Good luck.

To those who have gotten accepted:
Congrats. Did any of you apply for the Part-Time program?

But I also have a master's degree, years of work experience and I'm a Peace Corps Volunteer (just to mention a couple of strong softs)--which probably all played a part.

I was in the 12/18 batch and got waitlisted via snail mail. I also live in D.C. soo it took less time for the letter to get here.

I was in the 12/18 batch. Got an acceptance e-mail this morning and still awaiting letter and hopefully scholarship information. I am in DC so hoping I get it today, although it may have been delayed due to the blizzard.

Waitlisted for full-time. What is the point of being waitlisted if they might not let you in until the day classes begin? Who has the resources to find an apartment the day before? Being waitlisted seems no better than being rejected to me.

Brookland isn't bad, it's a mixture of Middle class blacks and Catholic U students.

Re: Catholic U 2010
Brookland is not a place I would choose to live. Find a place on the Metro’s redline ( DuPont Circle or Chinatown) which has a stop at CUA.oberlin08 wrote:howie wrote:anyone know what the good neighborhoods are to live in at catholic, i heard columbia heights would appreciate any reccomendations
