This makes me worried. I have been complete since early Sept, and no word. Plus, my #'s are higher.

But congrats to you!! Hope you have fun at UVA!! :D

I think it varies. They gave me 90k (30k a year).

UVA is weird with admissions. I heard back in a couple of days (2 to be exact). I applied at the end of October.

RD, out of state (NY)
LSAT: 170+ (I don't want to be specific because I don't want to be dealing with comments like "my #'s were higher")
GPA: 3.5+ (From a liberal arts school that sends a lot of students to UVA)

Not many people discuss the quality of your P.S. as a factor in admissions nearly as much as I think they ought to. My numbers weren't mind blowing but I think I crushed my P.S.

Got a call from one of the Deans and a Deans Scholarship.

I'm still waiting on a number of other schools but UVA is definitely high on my list. I've appreciated how candid everyone is on these boards so I figured I'd offer my info. Good luck to everyone else. And don't get discouraged. I'm convinced that this admissions process is more of a crap shoot than people want to acknowledge.

+1 but are you guys in or out of state? It seems like only a few people out of state have received acceptances.

For those who were accepted, did your status checkers change at all before/after the e-mail/call?

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
