I'm in the process of applying right now, and I found it a little funny that they want an end date for my permanent address. You think they will see the humor if I put 12/21/2012?

I don't get it... from the movie trailer?

Also, I'm still at applied. God damn you Cornell.

On a tangential note, why do law schools feel the need to belabor every process. I emailed Duke asking if they had received my Dean's Letter and they responded 24hrs later saying they had received it and it would be placed in my file in a few days. On what planet, in what universe, does it take a few days to put a 1pg letter in a file folder?

Someone mentioned this before but I'm not sure there was a response. Based on past years, do they send all the EA decisions in a big batch in December or will they trickle in?

They begin the 2nd and then just sort of trickle on in for the rest of the month.

Sorry, that's just based off of last year's LSN. For the 07-08 cycle, decisions started going out 12/11. With the 06-07 cycle, it was 12/4.

So I'd imagine we're looking at the first week of December sometime. I don't think anybody could give an exact day.

It looks like we applied to a lot of the same schools, except I didn't even try NYU/Stanford...I don't have any amazing softs. I also applied to more southern schools like UT, UA, Vandy. Didn't apply GULC...somehow DC doesn't seem very attractive to me.

I'm on LSN under the same username, but somehow my name is not showing up in the list. I think it's because I didn't confirm my account when I first registered so I might have to create another one. Are you thinking about retaking the lsat? I'm thinking about it because I feel like I might get more money from some schools if I get a higher score (big if).

i did retake the lsat and got the same exact score, so i don't really have the motivation to retake at this point. i guess if i'm REALLY disappointed with my cycle i would retake and wait a year but i just have trouble seeing that happening. maybe i'm overconfident, we'll see.

Here's another EA checking it. At first, Cornell wasn't on my map but the more I looked at it the more I came to love it and could really see myself there. So I applied last week and haven't heard anything back yet, but here's to hoping!

Via status checker after it goes to Decision there will be a link to the admitted students site if you got in.

I'm still at applied although I submitted on 10/23. No cause for panic until another week or so but I wish I would just go EA complete already.
