I can't imagine it would take that long to review a file
Two days, though I imagine this can vary.

I also went complete 9/9...the wait is driving me insane. But I guess there are only a few days left to hear back from them so hopefully it's good news.

Btw, Duke accidentally sent me the acceptance email for someone else as well, so either that person got the email along with mine, or they will be notified today, since I told their Office of Admissions that I received that email.

Seriously... try the average 10-12 weeks for Chicago or 4+ months for Stanford.

Interesting...I received two as well, though both were addressed to me and one showed up about 10 minutes after the other. Strange.

For all of you that are saying you want to hear in the next few days...did you all apply priority track? otherwise i feel like you wouldn't hear until november or december

I did apply priority track. And the only reason I said earlier that it is driving me "insane" is just the anticipation that I will know if I am rejected or accepted very soon. I don't mind waiting until December to hear back from schools, but it's just that feeling when you get closer to the date.

I assume they defer some priority track people? Or is it straight admit/WL/reject?

based on the info from lawschoolnumbers, it seems like it's straight admit/wl/reject within 10 days

alright, so i just submitted to Duke. I'm waiting on an LOR, so I know I won't go complete for a few days, but what's the process here. Right now it just says 'transmitted' and "Status: Not requested by law school."

What will I be seeing in the next few days? Does it go transmitted --> complete --> under review --> decision?

muchas gracias.

From the priority track registration page:
Upon completion of your file, your application will receive an immediate comprehensive review and you will receive a response within ten days. The response will be a notification that you have been selected for admission, denied, waitlisted, or held for further review by the Admissions Committee.

Mine has gone initially from "received" to "file under review". Nothing about "complete". I'm still waiting on the decision

What's a "normal" wait time for a decision? 3-4 months was my guess...

If your file is under review then it is already complete

For Duke, or just in general?

6-8 weeks is average. Depending on when you apply, of course.

has anyone gotten scholarship offers coupled with their acceptances yet, or should we assume these will come later?

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
