$37k/year. Not too surprising given my numbers (167/3.74). Hopefully can get it above $40k with the reconsideration program.guybourdin wrote:And what was it?monotonemr wrote:Just got it in the mail this afternoon.Giro423 wrote:I also have this same status dated 12/30. Yeah, mine was $22K a year but also on par with my numbers. 3.1/164 so that makes sense. Congrats to everyone.

I got 20k a year with a 3.2/164. Considering I was ED I'm pretty happy.

how do you hope to increase? i am 3.51/169 and only got 25K per year not really impressed. I am leaning toward Michigan Law at this point but waiting to see the numbers.Dodocogon wrote:3.5/167 got 32k/year. About expected, but hopeful to increase.

Waitlisted this morning. Expected but still kind of disappointing.
Any advice on the likelihood of getting off the waitlist and what I can do to improve my chances?

I would write a LOCI and indicate that you would absolutely attend if accepted off of the waitlist. Also, if you've gotten any new jobs, awards, better grades, etc. let them know.that1one1guy wrote:Waitlisted this morning. Expected but still kind of disappointing.

Whatever their reconsideration/negotiation program is; haven't looked into it yet. Not impressed with that offer for you either though...BabyDoc2JD wrote:how do you hope to increase? i am 3.51/169 and only got 25K per year not really impressed. Does anyone else plan to attend the preview weekend on the 24-25th?

I did my undergrad at another school there, and despite the hard rap it gets for the winters, it is a beautiful city with lots to do and lots going on.Earlskies wrote:My tickets are already booked. Can confirm - I did my undergrad here and have lived downtown for about 2 years now. If anyone has any questions about the city/recommendations, feel free to PM me.

Hey! Admitted via status checker a week ago. In SoCal. Only received email about reception but no admitted students log in info. Trying to arrange a visit with wife. Anyone know the dates for admit day? Also, I'm in the military so Im pretty inflexible with training. Do you think they'd still do a tour if I can't make those dates?

They have other dates available for tour and I think they will still reimburse some of your expenses to visit even if it's not for ASW. The campus preview weekends (ASW) are March 24-25 & April 7-8str8shot122 wrote:Hey! Admitted via status checker a week ago. In SoCal. Somewhat random, but I was posting about housing in the general TLS c/o 2020 thread so it's on my mind.
I (most likely) won't be attending Minnesota, but I will be REALLY sad to leave my apartment here in Minneapolis. It's truly a steal and a miracle we even found it.
Anyone who is serious about going to Minnesota and needs a place to live should contact me if they're interested in moving in when my husband and I leave (1 BR/1 BA). We don't live on campus, but we moved in before I graduated from UG and there is a bus that picks up 3 minutes walk from the apartment and goes straight to campus--super easy. We live within a 5 minute walk of three of the lakes in the city, we're right by one of the commuter trails that takes you into downtown (or to campus, if you want to bike to campus), our rent is very cheap for the area, our landlords are chill, our neighbors are nice and quiet, there is a park in our back yard, the neighborhood is REALLY nice, and our apartment is very sunny and spacious (windows on three sides). Have I sold it yet?

Thanks! I doubt I'll be able to get off for those dates. I'll probably have to do early february. I'm hoping to convince my wife that minneapolis is better than LA. California people are stubborn lol.JD_Kingfish wrote:They have other dates available for tour and I think they will still reimburse some of your expenses to visit even if it's not for ASW. Has anyone had problems getting onto the admitted students website? I got emailed a login and password mid-december but even when I try to go through "forgot my password" it says "We have no record of a user matching the information you have given".
Everything else they've sent to my email address has come through no problem so I don't think it's that.. anyone else had a similar issue? I emailed admissions but no word back yet.

lol good luck with that. Minneapolis is nice but it will be a rough transition for someone from SoCal, unless of course, you have lived in the upper midwest before.str8shot122 wrote:Thanks!
