Got an email that my application was received and is complete. Not status checker link though.
They need to give me a status checker so I have a page to obsessively refresh ten times a day.

Received and complete in the same email? Weird, mine were separate...ashrice13 wrote:Got an email that my application was received and is complete. Not status checker link though.

I don't really like the idea of status checkers... I mean BU calls you when you're in anyway right? I don't need to relive gray day any more times than I have to lol

It's so odd...the first email said it was complete and ready for review. The 2nd email said it was received and would take 3 days to determine if it was complete...and the 2nd one had a status checker. haha. I think they got sent out of order or something.Dodocogon wrote:Received and complete in the same email? I'm 80% sure I accidentally just wandered into your LSN profile. If I did, I have no idea why you'd be nervous about anything.ashrice13 wrote:Yes! Shaming in person was what finally did it. I think it will actually be easier than waiting for the LSAT. If I get bad news here, it doesn't necessarily mean that I have to wait until 2018 the way a bad LSAT score would have. Then again...we'll see how I feel in a few weeks haha

Haha...thanks! It's probably me...the name is very similar to the profile here. My LSAT score is lower than anyone else I've seen get ED before (Except for URMs) so that concerns me. If I had a couple more points there I would feel more confident.Long shot hero wrote:I'm 80% sure I accidentally just wandered into your LSN profile. When I'm feeling especially delusional, I think maybe I won't get BU ED but then I'll get the NYU scholarship (which would be amazing but also...oh man, that COL in NY. Not sure I could do it).

Haven't really seen anyone with decently high numbers with the ED on LSN yet... gives me more hope than I should haveashrice13 wrote:Haha...thanks! I'm just looking to squeeze as much scholly out as I can - just wish I had a bit better of a GPA to go along with my LSAT.

I may be wrong but I recall a conversation in a BU thread that said they tracked down 2 of the ED people from previous years on Reddit and they had like 168-169. Now I'm determined to go find that to make sure I'm not crazy. Also if you are this person on LSN - you barely have room to have a better GPA as it is almost perfect.ashrice13 wrote:Haha...thanks! Also to both of you - I applied ED with numbers that like 99% will not get ED scholarship, but mostly to show a lot of interest without possibly limiting scholarships by applying BU bound. Plus I visited and I'm from the south--wayyy down there.

I've seen one that had a 169 and that was the lowest I've seen...can't remember if they were URM though. im also a worrier...even if I had a higher LSAT I'd still be worried. I think that helps! Especially if you have high numbers but not high enough for ED I think applying ED may help eliminate any YP concerns.Long shot hero wrote:Also to both of you - I applied ED with numbers that like 99% will not get ED scholarship, but mostly to show a lot of interest without possibly limiting scholarships by applying BU bound. I wonder if not being local is a bonus - I'm coming from Kansas so I'm hopeful that adds a little interest to my app. They can get a state ticked off of their "states represented" column right off the bat!Long shot hero wrote:Also to both of you - I applied ED with numbers that like 99% will not get ED scholarship, but mostly to show a lot of interest without possibly limiting scholarships by applying BU bound. Lol winter last year we had a friend come up from TX and they literally only had a light jacket when the first winter storm hit... felt bad for them! Good luck to you in the northeast man.Long shot hero wrote:Texas here - idk what winter is - that isn't a jokeDodocogon wrote:I wonder if not being local is a bonus - I'm coming from Kansas so I'm hopeful that adds a little interest to my app. They can get a state ticked off of their "states represented" column right off the bat!Long shot hero wrote:Also to both of you - I applied ED with numbers that like 99% will not get ED scholarship, but mostly to show a lot of interest without possibly limiting scholarships by applying BU bound. Yea but we actually have a good football team
if that helps narrow down where I'm at. Another hint: People call my school a cult quite often.

Oh gotcha - the Big XII isn't impressing too much on the football side of things this season (it's still a lot of fun). Well at least we (KSU) beat you in the last conference game we played. That's about all I got! 2-0 vs Texas teams thus far tho.Long shot hero wrote:Yea but we actually have a good football teamif that helps narrow down where I'm at. I feel bad for UT's football team lately. So much so I don't even feel the rivalry I'm supposed to feel.Dodocogon wrote:Oh gotcha - the Big XII isn't impressing too much on the football side of things this season (it's still a lot of fun). Our rival has won one game in the last 2 years, still don't feel bad. (They do have basketball tho)Long shot hero wrote:I feel bad for UT's football team lately. Also, it still felt good beating Texas a couple weeks ago - I'd like to see you guys play again.
