When do you think we'll start seeing first JS1s/JS2s?
Last year looked like:
First WL JS1s reported May 7th
(No JS1bs except for international)
First JS2s reported May 20th
First dings reported June 18
Previous year was:
First WL JS1s reported May 6th.
First JS1bs reported May 13th
First JS2s reported May 15th (went to both those with JS1bs on the 13th and those with post-WL JS1s)
First dings reported June 17th

"We will begin to review the waitlist in late May"
It doesn't seem like they will be having a similar timeline from recent years. Idk though

Well the first JS2s have consistently come out late May, so the timeline in the WL offer email and in previous cycles istrenhardeatclen wrote:"We will begin to review the waitlist in late May"

If it weren't for TLS I might have put down a seat deposit for Pepperdine by now instead of being here. This site likely saved my legal career. Well worth the extra anxiety and paranoia as far as I'm concerned.killingmesoftly wrote:Comments like these make me happy I spend so much time lurking on TLS, even though the vast majority of comments just make me more anxious and paranoid.kr2 wrote:Found this article in last year's thread, which mentions Michelle Obama getting admitted to HLS off the waitlist. Maybe a silly q but wanted some opinions: other than the fact that i've started to learn a new language, i have no updates whatsoever. Should i still write an LOCI about how much i love harvard yadda yadda? Aka would it in any way hurt my chances if i didn't write an loci?

Quick question: I'm still finishing up my undergraduate degree and waiting for spring semester grades to see if I'm eligible for Latin honors. Should I just send in a LOCI for now, and send an updated resume with undergraduate honors and other updates in mid-May?

Completely agree, this site convinced me to retake the LSAT when people thought I was crazy for retaking because I got a 165 the first time. I did much better the second time and now I'm staying on the Harvard waitlist in the hope that I might get in but very excited about going to University of Chicago.

Maybe this is a silly question, but I never interviewed with JS. Did anyone on the WL interview? What questions were asked?

Re: Harvard Law School c/o 2019 Waitlist
I noticed that Harvard "generally advises against additional rec letters" which I totally get but I already sent a LOCI before the waitlist decision.
I was originally planning on sending a another letter from a current supervisor as a way to show what I've done since graduation in a way different than what I wrote in my LOCI but now that seems like a bad idea. I honestly don't think I have enough of a substantive update to change in a resume but I think my supervisor could speak to a lot.
Asking for advice: should I send another LOCI in a month or so, or should I just leave it as is?

It might be worth it to call and ask under what circumstances it may be a good idea to send another letter. Their language seems to indicate that sometimes another letter *is* appropriate. Perhaps your situation fits into this mold.shaybaybayy wrote:I noticed that Harvard "generally advises against additional rec letters" which I totally get but I already sent a LOCI before the waitlist decision.
