Yup, I got it, but I'm retaking and holding off a cycle anyway. BTW, I'll be in the neighborhood of Emory Law in a week. I'm taking a tour of GSU (I was admitted). Should I request one from Emory as well? Is that a normal practice when you are on the WL? I mean my chances of getting in there are extremely slim to none.

Yes, but it's July 15. How far into the summer do they usually still accept people?

Orientation is August 9th, idk how feasible it would even be to just pick up and move to ATL by then.

That's what I was wondering. Because the first one said that they do accept people even into August, but say you got a call on August 1, you'd have to be in Atlanta by the next week.

I haven't heard anything since being waitlisted but just received an email from financial aid. The subject line says "Financial Aid Application Received" and it lists an ID number. Is this any indication that I've been accepted? Did anyone else receive the email?

I had submitted FASFA a while back. I'm guessing the email was a generic response for anyone whose aid was determined.

I submitted my FAFSA way back in January. I haven't heard anything else since the email, but I deposited on a full ride elsewhere so I'm not holding my breath at this point.

Anyone else offended that they never sent a decision? Have been waiting to sign a lease and missed out on a few apartments. Wasn't orientation this week?
