So one other user on here posted and I PMed the individual. They added me as a Facebook friend and started the page with the 2 of us. Then we posted the link in this forum, and individuals would search and find it on Facebook and ask to join that way

I emailed to ask if I was competitive for a scholarship and they told me if it was. Also, she told me yesterday that she hopes to have them finalized by yesterday. So, maybe soon?

I'm curious as well. I have been marked as "File Complete" since 2/9.

I believe mine went from complete to decision mailed. I'm almost positive that SC was the school that i never saw an "under review" status change. I sat at "complete" for two weeks.

Just went to "Decision Mailed" today. Fingers crossed.

Once again asking if anyone has received letters regarding scholarship offers? I called and was given no information. They also have been unwilling to give me a seat deposit deadline extension and the deadline is this Friday, April 1st. Anyone with this problem as well?
I do not want to pay a deposit before I know my scholarship offer. South Carolina's process has been the worst and people I have spoken too have not been pleasant. It's almost enough for me to not even go there.

Got my offer letter this Monday, and I live in Columbia so it wasn't travelling far. Truthfully an incredible disappointment though. I'm right there with you.

Yes, there is a chance. My old roommate was initially offered one amount with her acceptance and was then offered a named scholarship for a larger amount later on. I can't say whether it is common for that to happen, but it is possible.

I did receive another scholarship on top of the one they originally gave me, but I will not be attending South Carolina in the fall. Good luck everyone!

Hey, guys! Congrats on all of the acceptances. I'm still feeling out the USC Law experience and city of Columbia. Anyone have any recommendations regarding where to look for housing? Planning a trip up there from Atlanta this upcoming weekend and would love to scout out some potential digs!

Yes I was incredibly disappointed as well. Seems that they do not try very hard to get in-state students to come to their school. Needless to say, I will not be attending.
