Submitted and yes, I solicited a waiver but I got it for being a vet.

I emailed for one, and they responded that they give them through review of crs or something like that. Next day I got an another email from them letting me know that the fee had been waived.SirArthurDayne wrote:Has anyone received a solicited fee waiver from Vandy?

I submitted my application a few days ago and received an email today notifying me that my application is complete, but that VLS is awaiting a report from my interview. I interviewed on October 21st...should I email my interviewer about this? Does it usually take some time for the reports to be processed, etc...? Thanks.

I believe they send you that email when the interviewer submits his notes. My interviewer told me what day he was going to submit his, and I received the "application complete" message that day. Its weird that yours says "awaiting report." I think I would contact him/her.calilaw33 wrote:I submitted my application a few days ago and received an email today notifying me that my application is complete, but that VLS is awaiting a report from my interview. What!?! I requested a vet fee waiver and was denied. I had to wait for a LSAC forum to get a waiver.

I sent my DD-214 and received a waiver 2 days later. My waiver request email included my numbers, but I'm below median for both. I mentioned my 4.0 since EAS, but I doubt that mattered.

Anyone know much about who the Law Scholars Merit Awards typically are granted to?

Scheduling my alumni interview feels like trying to meet up with an internet stranger. (like that ridiculous video that was going around Facebook a few weeks ago, http://abcnews.go.com/GMA/video/youtube ... s-33081745) Is my dad going to jump out of the bushes and yell at me??

Just had my very enjoyable, fairly casual in-person interview. Nothing to fear, as others have said. Just be prepared to answer the "Why Law?" question or face embarrassment. Was also asked "Why Vandy?". My interviewer was very cool and gave very thorough answers.

Woke up early this morning from a dream in which I had received an email of acceptance from Vandy. In the dream, I was worried it was a dream, so I verified with the status checker. Woke up for real and realized it was just a heart-breaking dream. Only submitted this week and still waiting for the interview, but still...

I think it's pretty numbers heavy, but hard to be sure. Most people I've known have been in at or above both 75ths. But they recently got more of them endowed, so it may not be quite as competitive as before. But I don't know when the newly endowed ones will start being awarded.legally_brunette20 wrote:Anyone know much about who the Law Scholars Merit Awards typically are granted to?
