Quick question for people who know the area: any idea what employment opportunities in the area are like? My fiance is moving with me to whatever law school I get into; he's a high school English teacher and will need to find a job in the area.

Hi guys. I submitted on 10/12 and it went to "Application is Complete" on 10/15.. I haven't heard anything though - I didn't expect to for a while, at least not before I read this thread.

I've seen a lot of talk about the gray boxes on this thread and threads for other schools as well. I DO NOT have boxes for G-town or W&M, but I do have boxes for George Washington. I honestly don't think they mean anything, and it wasn't an "accident" on behalf of the adcom, because it's happening at multiple schools. It is kind of irritating though, and leaves me wondering if they could possibly mean something.

The W&M timeline seems sporadic. Hopefully it will heat up again soon, and it definitely seems like they scoop up strong applicants quickly. The boxes in this case seem like they may have indicated an acceptance early on for W&M but now don't appear for any W&M applicants. That's my understanding at least.
