Re: Chicago C/O 2019 Applicants (2015-2016)
I've just been working on my app and I was pleasantly surprised to find that my application fee has been waived. Any others seeing this?

When you go to the school's application homepage on LSAC, there is a box on the left that said my fee was waived. I just submitted and I was only charged $30, so I guess it worked.benwyatt wrote:How did you see this?doublehoohopeful wrote:I've just been working on my app and I was pleasantly surprised to find that my application fee has been waived. Re: Chicago C/O 2019 Applicants (2015-2016)
I didn't bother writing one, my numbers really aren't HYS material so they shouldn't have to worry about one of them stealing me.urbanist11 wrote:Nice! Congrats on the waiver - I know Michigan does hidden waivers as well. Personally hoping that my Why Chicago was unique/persuasive enough for them to give me a shot, if they even read it.

Re: Chicago C/O 2019 Applicants (2015-2016)
Mine might be a carry over from last cycle (I received waivers for the 2013-2014 cycle at the end of September 2013 and the 2014-2015 cycle in December 2014). If you're not concerned about getting it in as early as possible, you may want to consider having it partially complete for a couple of months. They mentioned in the email that they saw my app was partially completed. I'm assuming they might be like an online store and give you a coupon if you have stuff in your basket.benwyatt wrote: Looks like mine still isn't waived

Sorry if I'm late to the party, but Chicago is doing hidden fee waivers. My application is almost done and I saw that my fee had been waived.
I had not received an email or anything previously telling me about the waiver.

Don't be so quick to assume you don't have one. Mine didn't pop up until I had done th app. Then it's on the check app page. You'll see it says "Application fee waived" at the bottom.Hildegard15 wrote:+1benwyatt wrote:No waiver for me either :/Generally wrote:No fee waiver for me. Lame.
