I'm a splitter so all of the T-14 feels like a bit of a reach for me.

Also on the scholarship note - do you know if the adcomm will also look at applicants' scholarship materials as well as regular admissions ones? Specifically the LORs. I want to have my strongest/most relevant recommender write my RTK letter, but I don't want either a) the adcomm not to see it, or b) to ask her to write me two different letters, which would carry less weight anyway since it would be from the same person.

I have the feeling that you'll do rather well, and you could probably scoop up an acceptance at Columbia/NYU. You might be riding the waitlist for them, though. I can see you getting decent of money at the bottom half.
