Do you mind me asking how you knew you were waitlisted? I have a Decision Rendered on 4/3, but no follow up email. The site is down, so I can't see if they mailed me anything, and if they did, I would expect to receive it soon seeing as I'm in the Phoenix area.laura1323 wrote:Waitlisted..

Has anyone been able to access the application checker? My last time was two days ago, 4/6. My application went into Committee Review on 4/2, so this is sort of poor timing for their website to be acting up.
Any help is appreciated.

How about a 15k COA difference? Is ASU worth it? I have seen the newest employment outcome data and now even more hesitate since ASU did slightly better than UA..Iwanttolawschool wrote:If the costs were similar, id say ASU easy.hermione92 wrote:Finally in with scholly! 42: Arizona - BL+FC-8.3% (-2.6%), FTLTBR-71.5% (14.4%), FTLTBR (w/o LSF)-65.3% (8.1%)
Youre right, they are very close for Full Time long term bar required.
Is that 15k per year or over 3 years?
I'm a 0L so I'm no expert, but I think when ASU moves downtown, the employment numbers will likely start to skew. Totally an opinion however

No way is ASU worth more money. If you search some similar posts on here about the two schools, even with ASU's rise in rankings, they are equal. The consensus seems to be that choosing the cheaper school is best. If they are equal or nearly equal in cost, then it comes down to which ever campus/city you prefer.johnsont426 wrote:How about a 15k COA difference? Is ASU worth it? so the improving employment outcome and the new building won't change anything? I prefer Tucson and the campus so Im leaning toward UA but still can't make up my mind..hdaze wrote:No way is ASU worth more money. I recommend checking out this TLS forum (which it looks like you actually posted lol).
The reputable posters on here all seem to agree it comes down to cost and city preference.
I'm from AZ and based on what I've heard from attorneys, the schools really are the same, and a new building downtown isn't going to make that big of a difference. The best jobs in Phoenix are still going to be taken by the top students from BOTH schools.

I'm just here to see if I can get more useful advise, but I guess its time for me to settle for UA

Headed to Tucson in the fall! Anyone familiar with the area mind shooting me a PM with suggestions on where to live/where to avoid, etc.? I understand that Tucson has its shady areas (probably not as bad as where I'm currently living, lol) but it'd be good to know those areas to avoid before I start looking at apartments.

There's information everywhere about that on this site man, just use the forum search. But to answer your question your best bet is to reach out to them and let them know you're sincerely interested in their school and try to haggle with them by using your other acceptances as leverage. Probably best to shoot an email to admissions although a phone call could also work. Could be wrong but that's just what I've heard, anyone else feel free to correct me.KingJames_23 wrote:Does anyone know what to do if you get waitlisted I can't find any information anywhere?
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
