To sum it up, the committee will be meeting in the next "week or two with offers going out after that". That's from an assistant dean, hope it helps!

No I went from complete -> initial -> decision made notice sent. I've heard the consensus is 165+ doesn't go to CRrefugeelawyer26 wrote:mpk11d wrote:Acceptance packet came in yesterday
you're the first acceptance i have heard of. were you ever under "comparative review"?
Unless they called my house (parents are in Peru so they may have) then no. My SC changed to "decision made notice sent" on 11/24IsThisForReal wrote:Did they call you first?mpk11d wrote:Acceptance packet came in yesterday
Hope your law school application cycle turns out better than your undergrad cycle did!mpk11d wrote:"Final Decision reached, notice issued" as of today. Also, never went into Comp Review. 166/3.86
As an FSU undergrad I'm telling UF that I'm going to the winner of Saturday's game

I had a 3 point decrease and I didn't write one. I submitted my app 10/29 and went under initial review 11/25. I'm still under initial reviewMikeM-law wrote:Did anyone write an addendum who took the LSAT more than once? I had a 2 point difference between tests and they told me I should submit one even though they only consider the highest score. I don't have a great excuse/reason but it's been driving me crazy lately...
Any advice? I just don't want to write one that will end up hurting me more than helping me.

I just used the same PS I used for my other schools. Pretty sure most people with good numbers do.lawschool1741 wrote:Even after they waived my app fee, I decided not to apply solely because of this PS. I even went to UF for undergrad. It was a safety for me because of my #s, but now not even that.Uschoolqb10 wrote:Yeah the admissions statement was odd. To me, it seems a much easier statement to complete for someone who is currently, or recently graduated from, undergrad.mpk11d wrote:Anyone else think UF's application was far too tedious for where they're situated in the rankings? Most T-14 apps took half the time theirs did. Saw these complaints on forums last year and now I'm seeing why
I saw in last year's thread that some people were posting that they decided not to apply to UF simply because of this admissions statement, potentially limiting the number of well qualified applicants UF receives.
Guess that is the rationale? Weed out people who are aren't extremely interested...but then they miss out on candidates with above-mean #s. Odd decision by the adcomms.
It's pretty easy to find reasons to hold grudges against UF. They pissed me off so many times in UGlawschool1741 wrote:Yea..but then how can I hold a stubborn grudge against them for the rest of my life?!IsThisForReal wrote: I just used the same PS I used for my other schools.
