MadwomanintheAttic wrote:Greetings fell applicants! I didn't see this posted et, but if anyone takes part in be ALS Ice Bucket challenge and emails the respective admissions rep you will recieve a fee waiver. I just called and verified and this from thee Chicago twitter page:
@UChicagoLawApps: Class of 2018-- take the challenge & email akperry@uchicago.edu with proof in 48 hrs. Fee waivers are up for grabs! --LinkRemoved--
She didn't say. I was going to donate anyway, but the twitter post and admissions rep made it sound like the fee waiver was contingent only on recieving a video of you doing the challenge.

Understood. I just wanted to make sure as many people knew about this as possible, so they can have the chance to take part. I'm not sure how many of us are on twitter, or that follow law schools, so I just wanted to share.lc39 wrote:Yeah where I live has been hit by severe drought so I'm going to take a pass on the ice bucket challenge.

Oh yeah, no problem! I definitely don't have a twitter presence so I appreciate you and other TLSers looking out for any and all application-relevant info

Not enough characters given to really elaborate. I gave a very vague statement about my practice interests and what classes I'd be interested in as a result.

Did you have a Uchicago fee waiver last cycle? If so, did you mention that when you solicited?james.bungles wrote:solicited chicago successfully
