I got a fee waiver last year but didn't apply. Do I have to ask for a new one, or would the last year's still be valid?

I think DS is always TCR. 1.5 at the very least.

ETA: Unless it specifies.

Got my "We got your application" email today. Basically it says I should get an ID in 5-7 days so I can log in and check on my application. Slow news day.

It says you can do ONE or TWO optional essays of no more than 1 page each.
Oh yeah I forgot they are weird. I guess I'd do two if you're doing a diversity statement or something like that

"Supplemental essays allow you an opportunity to provide us with relevant information that you were not able to include elsewhere in your application materials. If you wish, write one or two essays (but no more) on the following topics. Each essay should be about one page (and no more than two)."

Where are you seeing no more than one page? My diversity statement was about 1 and a 1/4.

I just received this yesterday. I guess I am farther away from UMich than you guys, or my mail system sucks... Definitely impressed.
