Yup same thing. Personal touch was nice.everything_bagel wrote:I got a really nice package from Michigan, including a lookbook and a letter offering a fee waiver (including a very nice personal note from Dean Z. (or whoever signed on her behalf)). I'd already found the hidden one but it was still very nice. Shipped Aug. 22. Anyone else?

I got a fee waiver last year but didn't apply. Do I have to ask for a new one, or would the last year's still be valid?

Got my "We got your application" email today. Basically it says I should get an ID in 5-7 days so I can log in and check on my application. Slow news day.

Oh yeah I forgot they are weird. I guess I'd do two if you're doing a diversity statement or something like thatrebexness wrote:It says you can do ONE or TWO optional essays of no more than 1 page each.james.bungles wrote:if it says one page I would not recommend doing 2 lolrebexness wrote:It says 1 page.Dream_weaver32 wrote:How long are you all making your Why Michigan essay?

"Supplemental essays allow you an opportunity to provide us with relevant information that you were not able to include elsewhere in your application materials. If you wish, write one or two essays (but no more) on the following topics. Each essay should be about one page (and no more than two)."rebexness wrote:It says 1 page.Dream_weaver32 wrote:How long are you all making your Why Michigan essay?

Where are you seeing no more than one page? My diversity statement was about 1 and a 1/4.

I just received this yesterday. I guess I am farther away from UMich than you guys, or my mail system sucks... Definitely impressed.everything_bagel wrote:I got a really nice package from Michigan, including a lookbook and a letter offering a fee waiver (including a very nice personal note from Dean Z.
