Re: Duke Law c/o 2018 Applicants (2014-2015 cycle)
FYI, I was planning on applying last cycle, but decided to delay a year. I got PT email from Duke on 8/21/13 last cycle.

I got mine in November, so YMMV depending on when you take the LSATyot11 wrote:FYI, I was planning on applying last cycle, but decided to delay a year. I got PT email from Duke on 8/21/13 last cycle.

I (think) remember them going out in waves last cycle. And I remember individuals soliciting PT, as well.xylocarp wrote:Thanks bex! that's good to know

I really hope I'll get it for sure. But I was under the impression that no #s combo really guaranteed it? I put North Carolina as a preferred state in my CRS preferences, maybe they'll help haha

They increased their 25 and 75 GPA and 25 LSAT, all while increasing class size.smccgrey wrote:Quoted you for the guess the medians thread. I guessed 168. damnit.Toby Ziegler wrote:2017 medians: http://law.duke.edu/admis/classprofile/
ETA: Sorry about your guess. It looks like Duke is making a run at the T-10.

For you fine individuals with LSAT scores it may be beneficial to request a brochure from Duke. I just did this and one of the options at the end of the form is to include your LSAC number. If anything it can't hurt, and may put you on their radar early for a PT invite.

Only half kidding--I just had to recycle an entire box of paper from the L.A.W.S. forum, mail, and the various visits I've done so far. I can't imagine how much paper we must have accumulated put together. Don't think I can in good conscience do this since I probably just threw out the same brochure, but I hope it works for somebody!

Re: Duke Law c/o 2018 Applicants (2014-2015 cycle)
Do your transcripts have to be received by LSAC in order to get a PT invite, or is a self-reported GPA enough? My tscipts haven't been processed yet and I'm worried this could bar me from an invite.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
