I'm riding five WLs and have one hold; I'm hoping to post that I'm off one soon.
Just post when you get off a WL (including stats would be helpful too).
Good luck!
I'm on 5 waitlists as well. But mostly, I'm just checking in to say that your avatar is the best I've seen so far.

In off my second waitlist today (W&L) with scholarship. Question about scholarship wording. When it says "You will be offered a scholarship of $X which is automatically renewed for your second and third years of law school as long as you maintain good academic standing and a standard of behavior representative of a prospective member of the legal profession" does that mean I get X per year or total for all three years? It seems higher than my numbers would dictate especially, but maybe they REALLY need my 163 for some reason.

Don't worry. I'll see you at Northwestern.
If only bro...if it happens, drinks on me
As to all those who are on Northwestern's wait list but are just "riding it out" commonnn mannn...not cool...some of us would kill for that spot you may be taking up
I second this. Very annoying when people don't withdraw from wait lists of schools they wouldn't attend if accepted.
I'm curious how this would significantly affect anyone else on the waitlist. It's not like if someone with a 178/3.95 (edit: or anyone with any stats, just picked this because it's a good example of someone who probably isn't seriously considering many waitlists) declines admission off of the waitlist, the school will give up on filling that spot in the class. They'll just move to the next in line. And the next, until they're full or class begins. At most it means the next-at-bat waits an extra arbitrary week or two for an offer, and s/he doesn't even end up knowing any better (even ignoring that candidates who
know they won't attend a school under any circumstances probably aren't the ones writing LOCIs).

Off of the wait list at BC! LSAT below the 25th GPA at the 75th. Still in shock!

Took myself off of a few waitlists b/c I knew I wouldn't attend, and that's not fair to my fellow TLS-ers!

But I'm seriously riding out Duke and Cornell. Thrilled with my current deposit, but I'd sell a kidney to be in Ithaca in the fall.

I don't think this is necessarily true if it would affect a school's medians. Several schools have reduced class sizes in recent years, and announced they were doing so pretty late in the cycle, in what I would speculate was an attempt to hit certain medians. For example, Northwestern announced in March last year that it was reducing class size by 10%. I guess I just think that schools are more concerned with their medians than they are with exactly hitting a specific number for class size.

I withdrew from Cornell about a week ago. Hopefully one of you guys will get my spot (and get a little $ to help mitigate that ridiculous tuition of theirs...)!
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
