I'm guessing with the email & response, everyone else got the status checker date change as well? Mine changed to 5/19. I don't know whether it did that prior to my sending a response though.

Haven't been checking status checkers much lately, maybe I should check those out for schools that I've been waitlisted at...do schools continue to do stuff on those typically for waitlist candidates?

Maybe many adcomms were busy this week with the LSAC events.

I just counted the waitlists on LSN that were not withdrawn and there are 140 and a ton of people pending/not updated. I'm not sure if this is a smaller waitlist than last year but, it is definitely not moving like it was last year. I think by this time last year admissions started interviewing people from the waitlist and had offered admission to a few. So I'm not too hopeful.

Sorry all don't lose patience, people always get in.

It's just a trickle down thing. Class is obviously full/oversubscribed right now, but as soon as HYS admit a few or other schools start offering more cash there's always movement.

Yeah it'd be kind of weird for one person to be accepted mid May and no one else hear anything for a month

I believe they're the only one of HYSCCN who hasn't seen ANY movement yet. (maybe even the whole T14 but I can't back that up)

Maybe they're in less of a hurry because they start so late. Even if they started admitting people from the WL in mid-July, the accepted students would have a couple of months to get themselves organized/ settled before classes start. Or, maybe their class is full.

Columbia hasn't had any movement, as far as I know, either

they've done quite a few dings and 2nd reserves recently, but you're right no acceptances yet at least

I talked to admissions today. They said late summer (September) is when they'd be updating the waitlist candidates.

So some of us will start school elsewhere and possibly be admitted to UC after that? Dang, the confusion.
Not that I really think I have a shot anyways.

ETA: What about those of us who have never interviewed? Just want a chance to interview...
