Has anyone else noticed that the deposit deadline for AJD (3/17) applicants is before the ASW (4/5) occurs? That's too bad. I hope I missed something and there is another option.

I noticed that. I really want to check out the school before I make the deposit. I think in previous years they had a separate weekend in February for the AJD students (I could be wrong). Does anyone know if they have something similar this year?

They will have an AJD admit day that's before you have to decide. I don't know that the date is set in stone yet, but I imagine more information will be coming shortly.

Congrats! That's awesome. Hope that's a bellwether for some future decisions, for in a similar position (i.e. praying quality of softs/WE compensate for pedestrian #'s).

Hi guys. Just put on the wait list for the AJD program. I'm hoping to stick it out as long as I can since my husband and I have to give adequate notice for both of our east coast jobs. Did I read that the deposit deadline was mid-March? I'm trying to gauge when they might start looking at their wait list. Also, anyone know if they pulled waitlisters for AJD last year?

March 15 is the deposit deadline. I'm not sure about the WL situation, but definitely I wouldn't rule out the possibility.

Not sure what's taking so long, but I'm definitely giving them a call tomorrow if I don't see some activity - not because I feel entitled to know or whatever, I'd just like to make sure there isn't an issue with my app.

I doubt there were any holds for AJD. The applicant pool was locked in before they made any decisions, so there would be no reason to wait for additional information.

We don't know much about what decisions have already gone out for AJD except that a handful of TLS posters were accepted, one was waitlisted and one was denied. I'm not sure we have enough information to speculate about what will happen with the remainder of the applications.

I concur, sample size is too small to jump to any conclusions.

Self-interest aside, we've got maybe 15% of the total applicant pool represented on here. Self-interest included, I really want to get into this program and I'd prefer not to think that all the admissions offers have been sent.

Yeah, I called a few hours ago. They said that decisions should be out "pretty soon" but that the Committee is still reviewing them. I didn't press for more info, but from the tone, I'm assuming that today is not the day we find out.

Ok, thanks. Well that is vague, but at least that gives me some assurance that I will actually get a decision. I was convinced that there was a problem with my application, or that I was just out of the running for some reason.
