It happens, no point in beating yourself up over it now. You could also be your harshest critic, or however the saying goes.

If you feel you didn't perform as well as you thought you could, I would give sitting out a cycle serious thought later on down the road. Especially if those choices are still haunting you come March/April.
I'm not that concerned, already got into a few schools I'd be happy to attend, some with decent $. I just have a tendency to kick myself when I realize things like this too late.

It's okay to kick yourself. It's a sign of a conscientious, hard worker.

Just gonna throw this out there - the UConn and Quinnipiac threads have the nicest, most supportive people on TLS. Don't know if CT attracts nicer people in general or what, but it definitely adds to the appeal of CT schools. :-)

I live in West Hartford very close to the campus, have been to an open house and know a couple of current students and I have a very positive impression of the school. I've also chatted with several alums who speak highly of the school.

Awwww. That's sweet. Thanks! I also think that the "older" students are very supportive and helpful. I actually feel like I've made friends on the TLS forum! Hope I end up going to school with you guys. That would be great.

Hi all,

Local ct guy here. I submitted my apps last Sunday. Applied to a ton of schools in northeast.

In at wne, Drexel and northeastern already. Scholarships with all and hoping I can't convince nu to bump its offer up a little more if I receive some more interesting offers.

Good luck to all!

Hi there-

It's very high up. I applied to uconn; wnec, Quinn, Suffolk, bu, bc, nusl, nesl, rwu , Drexel , temple.

Kind of at point it is uconn w instate tuition v. School w full ride. Tough choice. I got 3/4 scholly from nusl just yesterday. I'll have to wait and see how things pan out.

On the record I applied for evening division. 3.1/163. Went complete last Monday

Thanks everyone!!! UConn is very high up on my list and I will definitely be visiting at some point soon to see the campus. Can't wait to meet some of you either at an open house or in the fall!!

Edit: LOL I just noticed how appropriate my avatar is for posting an acceptance... :-D

Congrats everybody. Anyone hear anything on scholarships? In-state here, accepted to several other schools with some nice offers, but nothing from UConn yet.

Accepted as of 1/14. In state. I haven't had any scholarship offers yet.

Did anyone get the email from the admissions office today about having lunch with the Dean in a few weeks?

Had that lunch last Friday. The dean is a cool, savvy guy.

In my case it was a group lunch (7 people); some were admitted students, some had applied. You could say it was a mutual information session where the dean demonstrated his sincere interest in us and did his best "I'm the most effective pimp UConn Law has ever had." He'll be good at tying your goals to the school's programs.

I'd recommend going.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
Just kidding ... it's still FREE!
