How long has yours been under review? Mine has only been under review for two weeks tomorrow so although I am anxious, I don't find it odd.

When i talked to admissions, they said that they generally take between 2-4 weeks. But that was around Feb 15, she said that they wait until they are sure most applications will be in before making a majority of the decisions.

They told me they start checking those that are waitlisted March 1st and that we'll all know a decision the same day. I'm thinking maybe a verdict by April?

I tried and was unsuccessful. Basically said they weren't able to at this time.

Good luck! I saw where they had started sending out another round of acceptances yesterday on LSN. I only went under review on 2/28 and nothing has changed with my status checker so I'm assuming I'm next round.

I got an acceptance through e-mail, yes.
I actually don't think I ever got a letter from them at all...

They are near the top for me. I'll be visiting during the ASW at the end of the month so I'll have a better idea after that.

Just visited. LSU just jumped waaaay up on my list. The admissions office was absolutely amazing, and the campus is unbeatable. Their program is very good, but I wanted to know more information about their energy concentration, which I wasn't able to receive too much of. Really looking forward to their program in Lyon, France as well.

You're the second person I've seen say this after visiting. Looking forward to ASW and the Cocktail reception at the Chancellor's house next weekend. Hopefully I leave with the same impression.

They either aren't negotiating right now or aren't negotiating at all, it seems like.

I posted this before, but I also was shot down immediately. However, my stats are pretty mehhh so that also had a bit to do with it I would assume.

Would not negotiate with me either. However, my first offer was very strong so I can't really complain.

Aside from the refusal to re-negotiate, LSU has really impressed me this cycle. From my communication with their office, to the events they have set-up for admitted students, everything has been first-class. Cocktail reception at the chancellor's home and dinner at the contemporary arts museum is a VERY welcoming and nice touch which, at least to me, speaks volumes about the community they have there... Or perhaps they are just really good recruiters.

Looking forward to ASW on Friday/Sat. Any of you guys going? If so, where are you staying?
