Accepted whereabouts 2/10
3.47 GPA/157 LSA/Good Softs and undergrad notorious for grade deflation
15,000+residency with top 60% stip.
This is definitely a major possibility, and I'm very glad that I saw the previous posts about the pros and cons of doing the summer Jumpstart. I think I'd rather get on work study, and take a a brain break over the summer personally.

I'm not sure what to think. Anybody else?
LOL; the same thing happened to me as well, but I've been complete since 10/18/13!! Report back when you hear something! Hopefully it's good news. Although, it seems like those who were admitted were notified via email..so...not sure exactly what's going on.

Yup, which 1 of the 4 panels do you think you're going to go to from 9:00 to 9:45? I'm deciding between Scholarly Pursuits at Rutgers or Lawyering While in School. My parents are really interested in seeing the school so I'll probably bring them too.transferror wrote:Anyone attending Dean's Law Day?

I'm a current student. I was asking to try and get a since of how much interest exists/how many TLSers will be attending. I'll probably be volunteering and helping to usher you guys/girls around the school. If I was you, I'd attend the Lawyering While in School panel. I imagine it will be primarily about our clinics, which are pretty great.XxMVPxX wrote:Yup, which 1 of the 4 panels do you think you're going to go to from 9:00 to 9:45? Funny you mention that because last night I registered online and that was the panel I chose. I'm not sure if you know too much about this or not, but I saw the Rutgers law school sent two groups to Tulane for a mock baseball arbitration competition. As a lifelong baseball fan that seems incredibly interesting and probably something I'd be interested in doing. Do you know any additional info about that and if it's something Rutgers law does annually?transferror wrote: I'm a current student. I'm not sure. I think there was a sports arbitration class offered this semester and that may have been the reason for the competition, but I don't know if it's an annual thing. I'm a lowly 1L.XxMVPxX wrote:Funny you mention that because last night I registered online and that was the panel I chose. Just received notice of a renewable $15K scholarship. Considering that in-state tuition, it would cost me much less than $10K. Not a full ride but pretty sweet nonetheless.

Any of you guys bringing your parents to the Dean's Law Day? Not sure how common it is but my parents are interested in seeing the school and I'm probably going to bring them.

I went there last year and a considerable amount of admits brought their parents. You should be fine. I'm bringing my SO with me, so you wont be the only one bringing guests.

It's annual. It's over winter break, and the school does not cover transport or hotel costs.XxMVPxX wrote:Funny you mention that because last night I registered online and that was the panel I chose. I can't remember where I saw it, might've been an email or in one of the things I've been mailed, but does anyone remember when the orientation days are in August?

Re: Rutgers Camden c/o 2017 Applicants
Has anyone else been wait listed at RU Camden Law?? I received news via an email that I have been wait listed and the decision could be made as late as 3-10 days prior to classes beginning. Anyone else is the same boat as me? Does anyone have an idea as to how this process works and if my chances are at all in my favor??
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
Now there's a charge.
