Got the acceptance today! I'm below both medians, so I'm super stoked. Does anyone know the specifics about obtaining in state residency? Oh, btw my letter was postmarked 12/19 and I'm on the east coast.

Obtaining in-state residency in Arizona is near impossible. If you haven't been living here for 2+ years, have an Arizona licensed vehicle/driver's license, and paid taxes in Arizona for the last year at least...you will not get it.

Thanks for the info. I just read up a bit on this topic through the admitted student website. It seems that as long as you establish residency 1 year prior to June 30th 2015 and meet basic qualifications (they give a list), they will guarantee in-state tuition for your 2nd and 3rd year. Essentially if your petition to obtain in-state status is denied, they (the law school) will reduce your tuition to the in-state level for your 2nd and third year. Pretty cool.

I'm just saying don't bank on it. The "basic qualifications" are very in depth. I went to undergrad here and didn't get in stet until my fourth year.

Also went to undergrad here and did not have quite as much trouble. However, I got a new driver's license before the start of my first semester, and I had a paycheck dated before it as well. Beginning with my third semester, the next fall, I did not have much trouble.

Just so everyone knows, Financial Aid told me that scholarship information will be released February 1st. If you call in, you can add your name to a call back list so if you receive money, they'll call you that day and you won't have to anxiously wait around for the letter!

So they are sending it today? Or most likely on Monday I assume?

Maybe I was talking to the wrong person, but I called Keyshia the associate director of financial aid and scholarship and she had never heard of any scholarship notification call. She said that they didn't expect to release scholarship information until the "first couple weeks of February".

That's funny because I called a couple weeks ago and I was told that Scholly info will be mailed out at the begining of February. Also, was advised that if I dont get anything in the mail by the 15th, to call and check if I did get a scholly or not. I love how we are all getting different answers. Also, anyone figured anything in regards to a travel reimbursment?

Please make sure to report whenever you receive a scholarship offer. This is the only we would know they've been mailed without harassing the admissions office.

I was in the first admit wave this cycle, and I had 2 review dates status updates, approximately 4 weeks from initial review date to decision rendered. Although, they might move quicker now since it's towards the end of the cycle. GL!

149- but I'm not kidding when I said that I had incredible LORs/softs. And I'm not trying to be snobby, I'm actually very very very thankful for this acceptance, I couldn't believe it..

I never noted how long I was under review but it wasn't for long, I suspect not longer than 2-3 weeks of initial application submission. Also, my personal statement is probably my strongest part of my application- don't want to get into it, but I'm positive that's what got me in. Did some great internships and personally knew ASU's dean who wrote a great LOR. WE in government for 2 years and extensive experience with CPS.
