There's no harm in it but you should probably wait a week or so.

Does your school not forward your mail over the break?jts723 wrote:"Your decision letter has been mailed." (12/5/13)
There's a good chance I'll be home for Christmas break by the time the letter is mailed to my college address. Based on that, would it be okay for me to go ahead and contact Suzy?
Otherwise, I agree w/ TheJanitor

Re: Baylor Class of 2017 (2013-2014 cycle)
It's possible the letter hasn't been mailed yet. I called and all it did was expedite the sending process--which was very quick: 3-day turnaround during Thanksgiving week; I called on Wednesday and had it on Saturday afternoon. I'm in CT, by the way.
You might want to try "if the letter hasn't been mailed yet, could you have it addressed to _________," or just explain the situation and see if you can get your decision. If you want it mailed to your home address, call ASAP; if you want to find out the decision, you can drag things out a bit.
Or...yeah, find out if your school will forward the letter; that's perhaps the least obtrusive approach.
Hope this helps.

In, no scholarship. Will probably withdraw my application because of this.

Decision mailed to day. Super quick turnaround.... submitted 1/3 and decision mailed today. Should I be worried? I'm <25% GPA but >75% LSAT.
Would they ding you via mail? That seems a little messed up if they would do that!

It's certainly worth considering. (Although I probably wouldn't have considered it nearly as much if it weren't for the $$)
I'm holding out for UT and SMU though. I really hope I can at least get 90k from SMU or at least be in contention for Sumners. UT I would take with in-state tuition (I'm out of state and can't justify full sticker.)
All things considered, it's a great GREAT first offer and is making the wait for everywhere else much easier : )
